The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. A beautiful setting, in secluded surroundings. The working farm is a joy and the farm eggs are second to none! Very friendly and welcoming; and especially dog friendly, which was wonderful. All facilities are provided within the cottage and it is very well appointed. Would recommend it highly to those with dogs, looking for a unique rural location.

A friendly, welcoming, but inobtrusive couple.
The cottage is very well supplied with good quality furnishings, everything you need to feel at home is here.
Warm, and homely, the master bedroom is all you would hope for in a high quality hotel.
With the icing on the cake being the unspoilt views over rolling hills, the cattle, sheep and fowl as your neighbours.
Ideally located for both the Lakes and Dales.
I will certainly recommend Tethera, and it's accompanying cottages, and plan to return.

It was a very good barn conversion, comfortable, clean, spacious & kitchen facilities very adequate. The countryside views were a little spoilt by the heap of manure quite close to the front door- I realise it is a working farm but I would imagine in the summer that could be smelly & attract flies ! It was fairly disabled friendly apart from the crumbling stone steps at the front which had no handrail & I found very difficult. Friendly farmer & cows!! We did have a bit of difficulty actually finding the way in to the farm,as it was on a gated road but asked some locals.

The cottage was very well equiped with a young baby this allowed us to spend very comfortable eveings in. The owners left you to it but were available if you need then and were happy to show you the animals. The area was great with easy access to touist attractions. The cottage is located down a single track lane that isn't very busy but is not ideal if your not confident in driving lanes. Only downside of the cottage is that the outside area could be improved as there is currently anywhere you can site to enjoy the views.
