24 hour security guard at front parking gate and in front lobby. Common area includes tennis, basketball court, children's play area and swimming pool. Walking distance from grocery, pharmacy, atm and USPS mail box.
2 minutes east of Luquillo public beach and Kioskos. 15 minutes east of El Yunque. 45 minutes east of SJU. 1 hour east of Old San Juan.

We spent 2 wonderful months in the apartment and will be returning next year. Joanne and Mark thought of everything to make their guests comfortable.The apartment is furnished very well and the view from the terrace is breathtaking.

We were looking for a romantic spot. This was perfect. As we began to miss our kids, we noticed all the amenities that cater to kids. Loved having the small but mighty kitchen to cook (margaretta maker, blender,coffee pot, and so much more) and the washing machine to keep our clothes clean. We enjoyed the Ocean sounds and watching the ocean throughout the day. Perfect spot to get to all activities you can think off. We wished we had more time to do everything. The condo is also in walking distance to stores and restaurants. We loved the owners and the Luz the property manager. The owners sent a list of things to do and go, directions and so much more before we got there. Then they had magazines that has everything in them that you can think of. Their closet in the bedroom has chairs, boogie boards, snorkling stuff, and so much more. Luz was so amazing. We called her when we were coming in and when we needed help with anything, she was there. She became like family quickly.

We just returned from our Carribean vacation, where we spent our 1st week here. We loved everything about our stay here. The rental was smooth and easy, the onsite manager was great and everyone there very friendly and helpful. This place is decorated in the same style I have in my own home, so it was special for me, even the same colors. The abbeys have thought of everything you may need and shopping was just a few miles to Walmart and Walgreen just across the street. We loved being able to watch the sunrise and sunset from the balcony. We also loved walking the beach to the Kiosks to eat and snorkeling right in front of our building along the reefs. The beach is a heavy golden sand, but beautiful. We loved opening the doors and windows for a great ocean breeze. I hope we can stay here again someday. The only negative was sound carrying from the balconies of adjoining units. One crowd was rather loud and another smoking cigars. However, these incidents. were brief and a/C can be used. Thanks Mark and Jo ann for some great memories. Oh yes, note that they lock the gate from the beach around 7:00. We got back late and had to walk all the way around the block to the guard entrance to get in. Lol

The condo at Playa azul on the 19th floor has a wonderful view. The balcony is large and because we just cannot seem to get enough of the ocean, my husband and I enjoyed having our breakfast at the table and the comfortable chairs the abbeys have out there every day. We participated in the water aerobics classes at the pool with some of the residents of Playa azul and were made to feel very welcome. (We were there for 28 days).
The condo is well furnished with sheets, towels, dishes, etc. and we had no problems. My husband has to have access to his computer every day for business and he had no problems whatsoever.
The bed was comfortable, the shower and bathroom was sufficient, and we were happy as we could be while we were there. We would stay again!
We highly recommend the condo, particularly for a couple. -

This was a great place to stay and the owners, Joanne and Mark were fantastic to work with! The condo was right on Luquillo Beach with a fantastic view from a large balcony. It was very clean and the owners provided almost anything you would possibly need except food.
Well stocked kitchen (plenty of cooking utensils, dishes, blender, microwave), washer and dryer, lots of towels, wireless internet, cable TV, etc. The building staff was very helpful also. Great price for what you get. Will definitely stay again and would recommend to friends and family. Thanks, Joanne & Mark! -

my husband and i loved staying here! we didn't want to stay in the city, but we wanted to be close enough to get there without much trouble. luquillo was perfect--only 40 minutes or so from san juan but close to great beaches and el yunque. this condo was just right for the 2 of us: plenty of room, great to have a kitchen (we like to cook on vacation sometimes to save a little money) and a washer/dryer. you could not ask for a better view from the balcony! it was also nice to have a secure place to park the car and to be able to walk to restaurants and a grocery store. joanne was very helpful, and this was a good value as well. the only change i could recommend would be curtains in the bedroom that could be closed over the blinds--the caribbean sun is awfully bright at an awfully early hour! other than that, it was just right!

Our choice to stay in Luquillo turned out to be a good one. This location is central to great beaches (7 Seas, Luquillo) the Rain Forest, and the ferry in Fajardo. There is a grocery store across the street, and it is a short walk to town for restaurants. It is also a quick ride to San Juan. I had never rented a vacation place from an individual before, and was a little apprehensive, but Mark and Joanne were great about guiding me through the process. The condo was as pictured; neat, clean, and an unbelievable view from the balcony. People at the condo (whether employees or condo owners) were very helpful and kind to us. We even took advantage of the yoga class and Bridge game offered as part of the condo association's activities.

This condo was the best value I could find. My wife of one year and I didn't spend much time in the condo or on the beach at the condo (a little disappointed by the brown sand and trash on the beach). We rented a car for the week for $120 and spent a day each in the rainforest and old san juan and twice went to the more secluded beaches near the seven seas beach. We went to Culebra twice since we liked it so much. If we go to PR again we'll be staying on Culebra (amazing beaches and snorkeling. We did appreciate that the condo had a few items we would otherwise have had to purchase like some snorkel gear, hammer for cracking coconuts etc.
Great place to stay when on a tight budget, would recommend to friends. Thanks. -

From the moment you arrive the fvisis is a very special one. Open the door and the salt air from the ocean hits you and a great view of the (El Yunque) rain forest on the other side. Puerto Rico is a very nice place to visit and the Condo is a great place to stay while there
