Beachfront in Playa Azul, Luquillo is the perfect combination of beach and rainforest vacations. Located in the Northeast of Puerto Rico near the rainforest.
Apartment is completely furnished in sixth floor,1 bedroom, 1 bathroom and parking, big livingroom with two twin sofas. Extras: Beach, Tennis and basketball court, library, pool, ping pong table, security. Family friendly environment.

Luquillo is a small town in the Eastern side of Puerto Rico very close, next to the beach and close to the rainforest and horseback riding. Fajardo a bigger eastern town is at a 10 minute’s drive, with shopping centers, movie theaters, restaurants, a marvelous bioluminescent bay and the ferry to go the Vieques and Culebra for less than $4 and 1 hour on the ferry you can go to a paradise island.

After you arrive to Playa Azul there will be a charge of $25.00 for the parking. The fee is paid directly to the Parking Guard and she will give you a Parking permit for your whole stay.

My husband and I spent 6 days in Karina's apartment and loved it. The apartment is adorable and the location is perfect (very close to the kioskos and Luquillo Beach, and an easy drive to the biobay at Fajardo, the rainforest, etc.). Everything we needed was provided-- dishes, lots of beach towels, folding chairs, floats, etc. We would definitely stay there again.

It is a nice place to spend vacation for families with children. Secure location, clear apartment, low price for renting, good beaches, safe place to swim in ocean, excellent pools near the building (one pool for adults and another pool for kids).
If you are going to stay here don't miss visiting mountain Yunque Rain Forest near Luquillo. It is beautiful! The forest hosts a number of unique plant and bird species. There are well maintained hiking trails, waterfalls and pools to swim in, lookout towers.

I want to thank Karina for working with us to make our stay so enjoyable. We were met at the airport with the condo keys allowing us to pick up a rental car and be on our way to Old San Juan for lunch,shopping, and sight seeing. Her directions to the unit were spot on! The beach view was gorgeous and I loved that beach chairs and towels were there for our use! Also there is a large pool and all kinds of atheletic & playground facilities available. My husband & I had the windows open the entire 6 days with the sounds of the waves relaxing us to sleep every night. No need to use the air conditioning. I loved that I was able to use the nearby markets to shop & brew my own fabulous Puerto Rican coffee each morning and prepare breakfast! There are also restaurants & bars within walking distance. Also the kioskas are are short drive away. We felt very safe & secure during our stay & appreciate the security provided coming in & out no matter what the hour. We are looking forward to a return trip next year to"Karinas LittleLuquillo Paradise."

Karina treated us super! The apartment was clean and had everything that I needed to enjoy my vacations! Safe, great people!
Amazingly good food was very close, loved aromas for breakfast and La Parilla at night time.

Pro's - good location - close to El Junque, beaches, Fajardo, grocery stores, Wal-Mart, Walgreen's, large pool, well maintained grounds. Fantastic view, great breezes, no need to use the airconditioner. Spent the whole time on the patio. Very quiet, day & night.
Con's - $50 charge for Flipkey and $20 parking fee. Construction repairs on the condo's - only could hear it one day, but the way the building is marked up, it could be going on for a long time. No directions on how to work TV - couldn't get it to work, living room has mattress's set up like couches - very uncomfortable if you want to sit on them. Great beach. Condo could use some freshening up. No dryer. Be very careful closing door, if you have the windows open - strong draft will slam door and doorknob is right next to the door frame - could easily break your fingers! -

My husband and I stayed two nights at Karina's condo, and it was perfect for our needs. We were able to easily get to El Yunque and to Fajardo to go kayaking on the bioluminescent lagoon.
The condo was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped, so we were able to cook and eat all our meals there. Although we didn't use them, it was nice that there were beach chairs available. The beach in front of the condo was beautiful, and Luquillo Beach was easy to walk to from the condo as well.
Our only complaint was that we didn't realize the hot water circuit breaker was off until partway through the stay (so I had a couple of cold showers). Once flipped on, there was plenty of hot water! -

My friend and I stayed in Karina's beachfront apartment and absolutely loved it. The apartment was spacious and very clean, plus it was convenient to have bedding, towels and a full kitchen to prepare our own meals. There were also beach chairs, snorkeling gear, etc that we had access to. The beach was definitely one of the nicest beaches we spent time on in Puerto Rico - quiet, not crowded and beautiful (there is a great view from the aparment and apartment balcony). There is a grocery store, restaurants, Walgreens, etc within walking distance plus you can catch public transit around the Island as well. We used public transit (publico) to get to Fajardo (then did a day trip to Vieques Island) and also took a publico back to San Juan. Karina and the staff that work at the apartment were very kind and helpful. We did have problems getting an internet connection and there is no internet in the apartment (we had to go to the lobby and it wasn't reliable) and the pool is in the shade for most of the day (in case you prefer the pool to the beach). Overall, we highly recommend this apartment and it's a great deal! We actually felt that the apartment is much nicer than it looks in the pictures (bright, clean and spacious).

Traveled in December 2013 with my wife and 2 kids. Owner: Karina was extremely helpful and friendly. Weather in December is excellent: ocean water was 80. Walk to the beach is 2 minutes. And the beach is breathtaking!!!
The only bad thing - they locked the beach side gate around 7 PM. After that you have to walk around the territory to get to the beach.
Excellent condo. Would highly recommend.
