Nestled on six wooded acres in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley, the Cabin is the perfect getaway for couples, families or a small group of friends. The Cabin offers two bedrooms, both with Queen beds. Rustic knotty pine walls and a large stone fireplace enhance the dining and living areas. The cabin is situated in quite thick woodland about 5 miles from Luray. Its well equipped for a getaway break and in a great spot to explore the near by Shennandoah National Park. Hot Tub is a great benefit at the end of the day's walking and exploring. Luray Caverns are superb and a little further away Staunton is worth a visit

My boyfriend and I rented this cabin to get away from it all for a weekend. It turned out to be exactly what we were looking for! Nice and cozy with an amazing hot tub and plenty of outdoor activities to keep us busy. It was back far enough that we felt like we had privacy but still close enough to civilization that we were able to go to the caverns and check out the river. We will definitely be coming back.

We love the mountains and the fact that we can bring our dogs along. It is so peaceful and mother nature never forgets to display her amazing shows for us every time we visit. This was our 3rd stay at one of Derek's vacation rentals, and we will continue to be loyal customers for as long as he owns the properties. We are hoping to return in the fall to see the changing of the leaves this year.

My wife and I spent a week here for our honeymoon, and we couldn't have been happier with the cabin! We arrived to find a fire laid in the fireplace and cookies on the dining room table. The screened porch, with its hot tub, hammock, and picnic table, was huge, and one of our favorite spots. The cabin itself was extremely comfortable--our only complaint was that the screens weren't very effective against bugs, but that was easy to deal with. The location was lovely and private, and we enjoyed being in our own little world in the woods. We also loved reading through the old guest books. We'll definitely come back, and we've already recommended it to friends!
