      Heaven on Earth

Left on 06/13/2013 for a stay in June 2013

This Barn is wonderful. Quaint and cozy with an over the top view of the valley. The owner of the property(Barbara) is just like family. This woman went above and beyond any innkeeper of any place we have ever stayed. She had freshed squeezed juice, homemade apple dumplings, clementines and bing cherries waiting for us upon arrival. She is the warmest, sweetest woman, can't tell you enough. She also can perform weddings The Barn itself is the greatest. Everything you need for an escape from everyday life. Fully equipped kitchen, i mean everything, from wine glasses to microwave cookware. This place is a can't miss. I wanted to give it a bad review just to keep it for ourselves but can't. It needs to be shared with other couples who really love each other and want to be alone.

The Barn is the place to stay if you're looking for a cozy cabin

Left on 03/08/2013 for a stay in March 2013

My husband and I go away one weekend a year, just the two of us. We had been looking for a cabin in the mountains that we could afford and a friend happened upon this one on the internet. Wow, were we lucky that she did! This is the coziest little cabin that you could find with a view like no other. We really couldn't believe how good of a view we had from the balcony (and even from the bed). The sunrises were gorgeous and it even snowed some ,which was beautiful. The hosts treat you like you're on a honeymoon and Barbara makes the best apple breakfast bread! We enjoyed exploring around all of the little towns nearby, as well as trying new restaurants that were suggested by our hosts. The cabin is charming and even has a whirlpool tub, cable tv, baseboard heat, and an electric fireplace (fabulous ambience). We enjoyed looking through some of the 27 guest books that were full! On our way out, we looked up to see a white dove sitting on the roof, wishing us peace and love on our journey home. There's nothing like The Barn at Elbow Landing...and it was exactly what we needed to recharge!
