Ceder allee has an Incredible View. the house very warm and relaxing. You can sit anywhere in the main room and see the beautiful view of Lake superior. The picture is old The yard is Knee high with wild flowers and wild raspberries. The only thing missing was a fire pit to curl up next to and roast some marshmallows and stare at the stars and the moons shadow dancing across lake Superior. Very clean and the remodel for this 30 year old cabins is great.

Beautiful home right on Lake Superior. It was perfect for two couples. Had stayed there previously and loved it both times. Well-equipped kitchen, everything clean and convenient. Enjoyed the gas fireplace. We hope to return for another stay!

We have stayed several times over the years and this year we were very disappointed in the cleanliness of the floors (lack of adequate sweeping..looked like dog hair), lack of kitchen utensils (grill but only a fork for flipping steaks, etc), Deck furniture is disgusting, Wicker chair has always been very uncomfortable. The good news is that the bed in the master is very comfortable and the view awesome!

This is my favorite spot on the lake. Unfortunately when we arrived we realized that housekeeping was not quite done, as there was no bathroom soap or extra toilet paper out. Was cleaned, but looked as though they did not finish/forgot the final details. It is booked often, so I am cautious about recommending it, as I want times available to return. I am also interested in an extended stay rate?

We arrived late on Thursday and left early on Sunday and, unfortunately, those were the only days when we saw the sun. Had a great time nonetheless, cooking and drinking and laughing with friends. The kitchen is more than adequate and we made good use of the electric fireplace and sauna. My only complaint: the single mattress in the bedroom where I slept was very uncomfortable. Also the lake was accessible only to the sure-footed (which I am not). Lovely lake views, though, even in the rain.
