This is an oceanfront unit that will accommodate 6 people. It is a 2 bedroom

(king/twins/queen sofa bed), 2 bathroom condo. It has internet connection and

updated kitchen and bathroom. Kanai a Nalu is a beautiful horseshoe shaped complex that is situated along side

of the sandy beach. While there are some ocean front units its unique shape

affords all units to have some view of the ocean. Lush tropical gardens surround

the complex. There are swaying palm trees, fruit trees and many tropical flowers

throughout the complex grounds. Access to the 5 mile sandy beach is just a few

      We love the room's location. But we have to say the room is very outdated. The rugs are filthy. The whole room needs a thorough updating.The condition of the room affected our stay. Also we were very disappointed with the soot from the burning of the sugar cane. We know that it is not your fault but it was aggrivating to say the least. Maybe it was due to the month we stayed.

      Condo is old in disrepair and disappointing great locatiom

      The location is great but the unit is old and needs to be redone. The sliding door to the lanai did not work, there was no front screen door. The kitchen was not well equipped old pots and pans and inadequate for cooking. We had to purchase some of our own.

      We have used Maalaea Bay Realty many times to book a condo on Hau'oli Road in Maui. There's never been a glitch in service. Our condo is always ready when we get there and the staff is easy to work with. The condos on Hau'oli Road are typically older buildings, and therefore more "homey" and less "sparkly" than new facilities, but they are right on Sugar Beach. The only negative thing I could say about Kanai a Nalu #418 is that is lacked some details that other units have offered. For instance, there was no binoculars in the unit to view the sea life from the lanai, and the cookware was pretty much worn out. But, those are small issues, in my opinion. We enjoyed our stay there. One of the good things about Maalaea Bay Realty is that the condos on Hau'oli Road were built before the setback requirements, so they are all very close to the water, right on the beach or the reef. The location is on a dead-end road, so it has more privacy and is not flooded with tourists.
