Up to four of you can stay here, as two double beds are provided in the bedroom (there's no sofa sleeper). Weekly maid service is supplied to make your life easier.

Surf Song is in the best location to stay. Across the street is the Bamboo Hut bar. Down the street either direction is other restaurant and bars within easy walking distance. John's Pass boardwalk with shops etc. within easy walking. Lisa's cafe the best food even if slightly higher in price. Dockside Daves had large quantities and, to me just average quality food. Thai restaurant across the street was good.
Our room, #240 had everything we needed (except a spatula!). The view was a beautiful full view of the gulf. The room was clean and a lot of things on the newer side. I would not hesitate to go back. The only driving you would have to do is for grocery shopping. We rented a car at the airport in Tampa. A cab would cost quite a bit from the airport to the condo I think. Every thing was wonderful, the service was great. Tee condo was a dream come true.It was the people we met there were so nice and a joy to be around them.Love the ocean view and,the amenities we within walking distance, we as Visiters was totally satisfied.

I have stayed in room 240 8 to 10 times in the past 15 years. Off season is not the time to stay there. The place (surfsong) was overran with kids. They ran the halls one floor then the other up till 11 PM. Beds were very old. The sheets were thread bare and would come off the mattress as soon as you got into the bed.
The view from the is great. Staff was very friendly and did try to reduce the kids. -

A very nice condo with a lovely beach-front balcony. The condo owners had obviously taken great pains to furnish and decorate the condo in a tasteful, comfortable manner. The only disappointment was the quality of the beds and bedding. The mattresses were extremely uncomfortable and in need of replacement, and the pillows and linens old and worn.

We had a great time at Surf Song! It was beautifully furnished,
very comfortable and clean. The beach front view was
awesome. John's Pass Boardwalk is right across the street with
lots of shopping and great restaurants. The office staff on site
was terrific! Very friendly. We can't wait to book our next
vacation at Surf Song! -

We spent a wonderful week at this condo. We have stayed in Surf
Song before but this was the first time in this unit. It was a wonderful
unit. The view was amazing. We would love to stay in this unit again.
The Surf Song is not only a nice condo but it is close to anything and
everything that you want to do. We look forward another stay there
next year. If you get the chance it is place to go stay. -

We have stayed at his property many times over many years and realize the units are individually owned. This was the first disappointing stay. Some of the furniture and carpet/rugs were very worn and dirty. The beds were in need of upgrading as were the bed clothes which made the overall feel sub-par. We were in the building furthest to the north which has long hallways. The carpet in the hallway was also very worn and dirty. We have had many enjoyable stays at this complex but after this one, we will not likely return wiithout careful consideration and many questions and answers about the unit.

My husband and I have been renting condos on and off from Sun Host resorts for a few years now. Each time we have used them we were 100% satisfied. All things were clean and quiet. The view was wonderful and I can't wait to go back. But with the economy at the time we have taken a break from renting the past two years. But we frequently talk of how nice it has been to stay there and in the future will always rent from sun host resorts.

Our condo was fine,not the cleanest.It was the management we had a problem with. The door leading to the pool was broke, we had to walk all the way around to the garage and up the back dark dirty stairs to go to the washroom or to refresh a drink. When we spoke with management he was very rude because my husband made a comment about the resort going down hill. (which it is, we've stayed before and always enjoyed ourselves) Anyway he did give our money back for the one night but was very unprofessional about the whole situation, all he had to do was move us to a condo closer to the pool or put duct tape on the door so it was usable during the day.
Very unhappy and will not return, nor will our family who has gone their for years!Response from SunHost-Surf Song - 10/24/2008

We spent a week here, and the place was wonderful! The folks who stay there in Jan-Feb seem to be "regulars...but they made us feel sooooooo welcomed! The office was very accommodating...and the maintenance person took extreme care/pride in his work...
In Feb., we stayed at another place. It was bigger...but so it was so "cold" in its atmosphere. No one spoke. If we go back this winter, this is the place to where we'd definitely go. We'd like to go back this coming year
