We have stayed at Surf Song many times in the past and have enjoyed our stay, but this year we stayed in unit 344 and we were somewhat dissapointed. The carpeting was dirty and old and needs replacement. The kitchen range and microwave were old, probably the original ones that were installed. Two of the chairs on the patio were missing plastic straps on the seats. The toilet and vanity seemed new but again the bathtub was probably the original one installed.
With the exception of the items noted above, we like the location of Surf Song and we will rent here in the future.

I was extremely happy with my stay. The room was lovely, the pool was heated, the people were friendly, the beach was fabulous, the shopping & dining was just across the street and I knew after just arriving that I would come back again. I would recommend only one thing....make the sign in the laundry room larger because I talked with several people who started laundry only to find out they could not finish because the machines shut down at 9:30 pm

We enjoyed a wonderful week at the Surf Song. We had always stayed a few blocks down the beach and had been coming to Madeira Beach for 40+ years. Our former home away from home sold out to large condo's and we were not sure where to stay. I had found the Surf Song on the internet and had emailed several correspondences back and forth with the managers. My 87 year old father was coming with us and we were looking for a place with a short walk to the beach, close to John's Pass (we like the boardwalk music) and a smaller place with not so many visitors. The Surf Song was perfect. The managers were extremely helpful and friendly and we found out that there are several families from Indiana that come yearly at the same time to all visit.
The only trouble we did have was that several children (who come yearly) purposely got the elevator stuck by placing an orange in the elevator door. My father had to climb up and down three flights of stairs during our visit until the elevator could be fixed. He has heart trouble so it was extremely scary for him to get so short winded while climbing. We were afraid he would suffer a heart attack. All was fixed and we were back to enjoying ourselves in the beautiful Florida sunshine.
I would highly recommend Surf Song and we are hopeful to be able to return next year. -

very nice stay in condo 344 in july and condo 333 in october, clean, nice pool with lots of sun beds very nice people,

we have stayed on this beach for a number of years and beleive it is the best in the area. for 15 years we were at wits inn. when it was no longer available we hoped surf song was the next best on this beutiful beach. this 344 unit was better than wits inn at a little more expense. it was always clean. visiting some other units on the same floor. unit 344 might think about further upgrades. if not we would still rent this unit.we love the beach and we love the people who look after us. thank you. b&b
