  Fantastic Weekend Getaway Location

  My girlfriend and I spent an excellent weekend (Sat/Sun/Mon) at this beautiful cottage. We stayed in the very spacious Cedar Lodge, which is entirely on the upper floor of the cottage. There are two other rental spots at this location (the bottom floor of the cottage and a quaint tented camp...all looked very nice, but ours was the best by far for views and roominess)
  
  After a quick call, the co-owner (Garrett) came out to meet us (by boat) and helped load our stuff onto the boat for the short ride across the lake to the cottage. He gave us a detailed briefing on the location and said that we could bother them at any time to get a boatride back to our car if we wanted to go into town or go for a hike. Later that evening, he took us and the other guests on a nice boat-tour of the lake - the lake was beautiful and the 'tour' was super-relaxing.
  
  The cottage was a true gem! It had a huuge comfortable bed, nice warm shower and every possible cottage utensil/device that you could think of. The huge dock (and another floating dock with deck chairs) allowed you to lounge around in the sun and swim at leisure. The included breakfasts were incredibly yummy - the lemon ricotta pancakes with apple-smoked sausage was my favorite. We ate outside thanks to the nice weather.
  
  At night, there was a firepit (and wood) available for the requisite s'mores-making, and for meals, there was a huge BBQ available for you to cook on (or a full kitchen inside the cabin if you preferred).
  
  You really cannot go wrong with this beautiful cottage - the owners really do work hard to make sure that all your needs are being met (and are super-nice, interesting people as a bonus!). We plan on renting it for a week next time...and someday hope to own something similar (for now, we'll just have to dream about it as we lounge around this place).
