MoroccoNot a good night's sleep.

Good location, close to all tourist attractions. Good size one bed-room studio, reasonable tariff if you're two to share, but the 40€ cleaning fee on top of the rental is questionable! Wifi didn't work for the first 2 days, only came to reboot the 3rd day after I threaten to move out and demand a refund. Paper thin walls! A group of 4 guys next door on the right , 3 German girls on the left, rowdy every night until 3,4 in the morning...you wouldn't sleep and there's no reception to stop such inconsiderate behavior.

USASmall place, but great location and price.

The check in process was easy, and Bagonia the owner was very helpful. My flight arrived in the morning from the us and she was very accomodating in meeting me at 9am to let me check in early. Throughout my stay, she was very responsive if the apartment needed attention. The location is great. It's close to Chueca and Gran Via as well as to the Gran Via metro. You can walk to the majority of all the tourist sites as well as great night life. As a guy, I felt safe walking alone late at night as well. One recommendation I have is to provide new laundered bed linens each week for customers on a extended stay. I stayed for a month and had to get my linens laundered myself.

This apt is located on a quiet street just a few steps from Gran Via (street) and a few blocks from Gran Via metro station. Very close to shopping and food (restaurants and grocery stores). Smartly decorated (with a nice bathroom and well-appointed kitchen). Some noise from neighbors, but nothing too bad - We (3 adults) would stay here again.

Madrid Gran Via 3 is the perfect location for an introduction to Madrid. It is within easy walking distance of all of the major sights of Madrid. The apartment itself was well set up for the traveller, including a kettle, toaster, microwave and stove. It would be perfect for a solo traveller such as myself or a couple - for me, it would be too small for 3 people.
The only drawback was the paper-thin walls - noise easily travelled from neighbouring apartments. Which is a problem if you are a light sleeper (or even a not-so-light sleeper such as myself) and are staying on the weekend. Some of the neighbours could be a little inconsiderate. -

LondonGreat location but...
Left on 02/09/2011 for a stay in July 2010
Everything was as expected. Perfect location to spend a weekend in Madrid. There was only one downside, the apartment is a flat converted into 4 selfcontaining units and the dividing walls are paper thin. We could hear every word other guests were saying. So there is a main downstairs door to be used by all the building neighbours and then again another door to be shared by I believe 4 flats.

Thanks once again for a cool place to stay in Madrid. Really close to the Gran Via and an apartment with all the mod cons you need. Ms Roman provides a great service. I'll be back very soon. Thank you.

Very good location, quiet street. Waking distance from Metro station (less than 5 min), 20 min by Metro for atoche Rail Station. Walking distance to Prado and Real Palace.
The only problem we experienced - noisy neighbors. Shouting and arguing after midnight. -

Surrey, British Columbia, CanadaA great place to stay in Madrid
Left on 03/05/2010 for a stay in September 2009
Renting an apartment is our new preferred way to stay when we travel. We
have the flexibility to have meals in, wash clothes (less luggage!) and get
closer to the locals by doing grocery shopping and such.
Gran Via 3 is centrally located in Madrid, so we had the added benefit of not
having to take transit. The centre of town is quite walkable.
The accommodations were very clean and well equipped. We had everything
we needed. The Roman sisters who managed the place were very
accommodating and helpful.
I would definitely stay there again on our next visit. -

Left on 02/23/2010 for a stay in November 2009
