Luxury and quiet apartment located in the heart of the Spanish capital, Madrid. Two-level apartment fully equipped with three double bedrooms (two en-suite) and three double bathrooms (can sleep 6 person). Antique and design furniture in a very cozy setting. Completely refurbished to most up-to-date standards (inc. A/C & Wi-Fi) within a XIX century palace with a lot of character. The apartment is safe, there is a doorman-service, an elevator and also has a safety-box installed. Perfect for tourist and business people near two metro stations:Banco de España and Sevilla. Within footsteps of cultural landmarks and social life.

We loved this property for so many reasons! Location was central to everything and the property itself was well maintained, well-appointed and as pictured on the website. We were immediately right at home in this neighborhood. Nacho and Olga were fantastic hosts and ensured that we were greeted upon arrival; answering all our questions about access to transportation and other attractions. We were 3 couples and we enjoyed the 3 en suites and the shared living space. The building was quiet and quite safe. We would definitely stay there again!!

This was the perfect location - walking distance to most major sites on a rather quiet street considering it is so central. It is nestled amid government buildings rather than bars so the noise level at night was not extreme. There is a small convenience store and a small cafe down the street which were great for getting snacks and meals quickly. There are several banks right around the corner and the metro is a two minute walk away.
The apartment itself has three bedrooms. Two are at basement level, each with two twin beds pushed together, and attached full baths, which make them very private. The third bedroom is on the main floor with a bed similar to american queen sized. The full bath, however, is not attached to the bedroom, but across the living room. The apartment is ample sized and very light and airy - very pleasant. The furnishings are comfortable and decorative. Wifi in the apartment kept us connected to our families and friends in the us. Nacho and Olga are very accommodating, and they keep the apartment stocked with everything you could need aside from groceries (shampoo, hairdryer, ironing board, iron, coffeemaker and coffee/sugar, paper towels and napkins, as well as pots and pans and table settings to name a few).
My husband and I stayed here with 4 children, 3 of whom are teenagers. The kids took the downstairs bedrooms. We chose this apartment for its location, and because one hotel room would not have been comfortable for a party as large as ours and two hotel rooms would have cost at least as much. In general, the place was ideal for our situation. The kids are old enough that they did not mind being in a basement apart from us. I would not stay here with small children because of the arrangement of the bedrooms and also because the furnishings are very delicate and breakable. The apartment is ideal for parties of 6 such as ours - either 3 couples or couples with older children. -

The owners Olga and Nacho could not have been nicer or more accomodating to our family, even giving us a quick neighborhood tour to orient us, and providing a list of local restaurants, and theatres, etc. The apartment is a quick walk to the great museums and restaurants. Our family of 2 adults and 4 teens had plenty of space--the apartment is very comfortable with newly renovated bathrooms.

Staying here is a great way to get to know Madrid. Less than 10 minutes to the museums, the park, nice restaurants, very close to all the action but not in the middle of it. Staying here is a great way to feel like a real Madrileño. You do not need a metro pass if you stay here because everything is in walking distance. It isn't cheap but we used all three bedrooms, so it worked well for us. It is on the first floor so it can be a bit noisy at night but it is a very well maintained, clean flat, with modern amenities.

My husband, my three teenage children and I stayed in this lovely apartment in Madrid. The place was even nicer than the pictures. The apartment was spacious, nicely furnished, and even had a washing machine. The location was excellent. We were able to walk to almost all of our destinations. Nacho welcomed us and gave us a nice description of the area.

He de decir que quedé más que satisfecha con la estancia y con el servicio. La casa es confortable, luminosa, amplia y está decorada con un gusto exquisito. Está situada en un sitio muy céntrico de Madrid, lo que facilita enormemente las comunicaciones. Además, las atenciones de Olga y Nacho fueron impecables. Han conseguido algo muy difícil: que estando de viaje por trabajo, te sientas como en casa. Espero volver pronto.

We stayed with a group of 6 in this apartment in March and we had a wonderful time. Apartment is located next to the Zarzuela Teatre and some ofiicila Buildings, so everywhere Police and Security, we felt really safe there also at night. The apartment is modern, but has a very personal twist with some great antique furnitures and paintings. It is very spacious and we felt really at home there.
The area is fantastic, its walking distance to all the Museums and also the famous area of Las Huertas Street with all the fantastic Tapas-Places are just there. The guys who run the place where very helpful and polite. We will definately come back soon!

We booked in February to go for one week in early March - 2 couples. We were very impressed by the high standard of decor and furnishings. We were pleasantly surprised by the complimentary wine and fruit on our arrival. We were welcomed by the proprietors, Olga and Nacho who showed us around the apartment and gave information about the local area. We asked if we could have dinner cooked for us one night and they presented us with a superb Spanish dish on our return from sightseeing. They were very respectful of our privacy and as soon as dinner was served they left us to enjoy the evening. On other nights we ate out in some of the wonderful restaurants close to the apartment.
The apartment is situated in central Madrid in a very safe area - a Police station is across the road.
Thank you for making us so welcome - we will recommend it to all our friends.

We were looking for a place right in the center of Madrid for us and another couple of friends, and this one did not disappoint us: we were literally within walking distance to most touristic spots. The flat was upmarket, like brand new, and very comfortable. Rooms were surprisingly spacious. The host made us feel very welcome from the start, and at our disposal in case we needed her. She actually gave us some tips for eating out in the area, which was quite useful. So a very good experience altogether.
