This two-bedroom, two-bath apartment is ideal for two couples who appreciate a comfortable, well-equipped apartment in a quiet residential neighborhood. While not close to the central city, all the major attractions were within an eight-Euro or less taxi ride and the Metro is also located nearby. We didn't use the nice modern kitchen much as there was a friendly breakfast restaurant within a block away. The manager is in the same building and arranged pickup and drop-off of the keys to the apartment at our convenience.

The apartment was exceptionally clean and well-cared for. It had enough space to be comfortable and had two sitting areas as well as a pleasant patio. It was realatively close to the Metro, and was located in a nice part of the city, not far from attractions. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Overall we thought it was very good value and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would certainly recommend it to others.

If we are ever planning to be back in Madrid, the first thing I will do is try to book this apartment. The owners were wonderfully nice and helpful. The apartment was extremely large (it easily accommodated my family of 5) and well stocked with every basic we needed (salt, pepper, coffee, dish soap, paper towels, etc.). We loved the location (about a 25 minute walk to the Puerto del Sol, but in a safer and quieter neighborhood) and found ourselves sitting on the balcony every evening watching life on the quiet neighboring streets. The beds were extremely comfortable. The location was quiet, the blackout shades made sleep easy. There's a grocery in the basement of the department store that's almost next door. It was the best vacation rental we've had.
