Apartment is located in private residential building in a quiet square just off Plaza de España (as shown on map!). Seconds from nearest metro stop.
Walk outside onto Gran Vía street and you're in the heart of it all. The lights, the shops, the tapas bars, the theatres. Walking distance from each and every single Madrid centre site: Plaza España, Sol, the Royal Palace, the Cathedral, the museums, Retiro Park. The best way to experience Madrid is to stay right in the centre. Thankfully you can enjoy it all but come back to a quiet and comfortable place without any fear of the regular commotion visitors usually get staying in the centre!

This was our first trip to Spain. We stayed here for three nights, went on a tour for five days with Julia Travel,located across the plaza, then returned for one more night before heading to Barcelona. Although Maria could not meet us upon our arrival, she came on the second day of our visit. She provided all the information we needed during our stay. All our emails were promptly replied to and we were very comfortable at this modern little apartment. The location was ideal for us since we were on tour and the metro stop is literally a few steps across the way. The cab driver did have a problem finding it though, so it is best to ask Maria for a map since the alley is pedestrian and one way. We were greeted most days by a concierge in the lobby, and the Palace, on-and-off tour bus and many services including cafes and atm's were all conveniently located within a block or two. The apartment provided fresh linens and was very clean upon both arrivals. The shower was perfectly warm and even a little washer in the bathroom. We were very comfortable and were glad to have found the perfect location for our trip. Maria is wonderful!

This great studio style apartment is located one short block off the Plaza De Espana. It's a five minute walk to the Palacio Real, 2 minutes to the Metro, and steps away from the Gran Via. The patio is a great place to relax and since it looks inward to an atrium it is also very quiet. I never sleep late but this quiet apartment had me sleeping until 11am. There are dozens of restaurants close by and after a long day it's easy to find since it's next to one of the tallest buildings in Madrid. Maria also arranged to meet us on our schedule which made check in and check out painless. Great location at a great value.

My wife and I just returned a couple of days ago after renting this flat for a week while we stayed in Madrid. It was very clean and has everything you need. There is a Metro stop just across the street, two grocery stores one block away, and it is a short walk to the Palace, Gran Via, and anything else you could need. Maria is great to deal with. Very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our rental of this flat and you will too.

The apartment was lovely...perfect for our four night stay. Situated on the Plaza de Espana and 5 minutes walking distance from the royal palace the apartment is in a great location. The place has a modern finish and is equipt with everything you'll need for your stay. Most importantly Maria (the owner of the apartment) was brilliant. Always on hand should you need anything;a great communicator.
Give the place a shot, great value. -

My boyfriend and I went to Madrid for my birthday this May and we had an amazing stay at Maria's beautiful apartment!! The weather was great and the gorgeous terrace let us enjoy it even when we weren't out and about, which was fantastic. The amenities themselves were perfect, pretty much everything you could need for your visit - we even cooked once or twice :)
Everything about our experience was great but I have to say the apartment's location tops the list - it's right in the center of Madrid but in a really quiet/"remote” plaza just opposite Plaza España, so we walked everywhere (didn't use the metro once!) but we never had any problems with noise or sleep, which we were so thankful about! Maria herself was tremendously gracious and helpful, couldn't have asked for a better host. Absolutely worth every cent and if we ever go back I know where we're staying!! -

Io e una mia amica siamo venuti alcuni giorni a Madrid e siamo stati in questo appartamento. Siamo stati molto bene. Maria gentilissima e simpatica. Quello che ci è piaciuto di più è l'ubicazione [centralissima], ma soprattutto la fantastica Terrazza!!
