The apartment is located in a classical building with lift. This is an exterior and bright apartment of 90 m2, newly furnished with modern and functional furniture.

It has 2 double bedrooms, one of them it’s in a loft, each one with two individual beds (90 x 190 cm). The lounge has two sofa beds, a dining table for six and a 3D LED Smart TV 40”. The kitchen is integrated in the lounge and is fully equipped with all the appliances. The apartment has two bathrooms which are also fully equipped.

The apartment has wi-fi internet connection and has independent air conditioning.

Located by the Puerta del Sol, Madrid's historic center, surrounded by excellent restaurants and traditional shops, and very close to major attractions such as Plaza Mayor, Palacio Real and the Mercado de San Miguel. Walking you can visit the monuments and museums of Madrid.

The Puerta del Sol was one of the gates in the wall that surrounded Madrid in the XV Century and its name was given because of a ‘sun’ painted on the door. In its origins, this place was an exterior area in Madrid but little by little, the city was growing and the Puerta del Sol became in the point of departure. Nowadays is the nerve centre in Madrid and it is symbolized at the ‘zero kilometer’ plaque. From this point start all the Spanish highways. The most outstanding building in this square is the Casa de Correos, built in 1768 and that nowadays houses the regional Government of the Community of Madrid, it’s oldest building in the Puerta del Sol and it highlights the clock tower, whose bells of the night of 31st December marked the traditional twelve grapes for the majority of the spanish people. The Puerta del Sol has been reformed through the history. In the nineties it was placed an equestrian sculpture of King Carlos III, designed by the Spanish artists Eduardo Zancada y Miguel Ángel RodrĂ­guez. Besides, there is another typical place to visit at Puerta del Sol: the ‘Oso y el Madroño’ monument (The bear and the strawberry tree). This place has turned into a symbol of the city and it’s a meeting point for the madrileños since 1967. Now this sculpture is located at the intersection of Puerta del Sol and AlcalĂĄ Street.
