Description from the owner
A charming thatch rondavel, ideal for a romantic couple. The spacious double bedroom with two 3/4 beds (can be made up to a king size bed) is en suite (shower only). The private braai area at the back overlooks the bushveld and the verandah at the front overlooks the valley. We offer either a continental or cooked breakfast.
The cottage has its own braai area, a fireplace for those chilly winter nights and is fully equipped. There is also under cover parking.

This is a farming area with shops about 25 km away where you can buy most things that you need. We are self catering but very well equipped. There are hot air balloons, the Cradle of Mankind, Blauwbank historical Museum, Askari game drive, restaurants 20 mins away, a cableway, canopy tours, bungee jumping fishing and on the farm itself canoeing, tractor rides, a games room, various ball games, a craft shop, walks, birding, an informal conference facitliy and pony rides for the children. We have covered parking and it would be advisable to rent a car.
