We love the smokies and Waynesville and try to get here when we can. Our second time at Mystic Mountain was even more enjoyable than our first. We love to get out and ride throught the mountains some days and some days just kick back with a good book. All the comforts of home here,you can't go wrong with this cabin and Donna can always be reached if needed to make sure your stay is enjoyable.

The cabin is comfortably furnished and clean. The kitchen is more than sufficient for preparing meals for 4-6 people. The cabin is serviced by a pest control company each month and there is no noticeable pest activity. Bathrooms are okay. The porch is very nice, offering a view of neighboring mountains. The cabin is nicely surrounded by trees. The fireplace performed well and there was adequate stock of split wood to burn. Tv reception is okay. Wifi is good and our laptop worked very well. Bird viewing around the cabin is very good with bird feeders around the porch. Wild animal activity at night is only a concern if you leave any food on the porch. One bear, a small one, showed up in the driveway one Saturday morning around 10am but quickly ran off when encountered. The location is very convenient to Waynesville, Asheville, Smoky Mountains, Blue Ridge Parkway, Hendersonville and the Regional airport located off the Interstate about 15 miles south of asheville. Shopping is conveniently located nearby with an Ingles Supermarket and a Walmart within a 10-15 minute drive. Golf nearby at Maggie Valley Country Club. The roadway up to the cabin was being repaired during part of our visit and that posed a minor inconvenience, but the road crew would quickly open the roadway to allow passage. We stayed 4 weeks and it was very pleasant. Being pet friendly was very important to us and our pets, a small dog and cat, enjoyed the stay, too. The $200 damage deposit was refunded within 5 days after our stay. The friendliness of the people you encounter in this part of NC, particularly in asheville and Waynesville is very rewarding.

Well equipped cabin with modern conveniences. Loved having the wifi to check out local happenings to plan visit. Worked every time. Very pretty views of the trees and mountain. Enjoyed eating on the lovely porch for most meals.

We have rented this home at least 4 times over the past several years and have enjoyed each stay. The location is ideal for any activities you may have planned in Maggie Valley, Cherokee, or the Smoky Nat'l Park. The home is always in immaculate condition, along with a wonderfully shaded front porch. The owners are very helpful and handle all money matters in a timely way.

It was a really nice place to stay for the weekend. It was really clean and comfortable. The maps and hiking books were definately a plus! They also had a nice collection of videos that we took advantage of in the evening after a long day of hiking. Just as a warning though.. leave the computer at home.. the internet never worked for us. We brought it to research some hikes.. glad there were books there.

My girlfriend and I stayed here and had the most wonderful time. The fireplace was so relaxing and we weren't far from town. We cooked and had great dinners out on the porch. It was amazing!

My family and I spent 5 days here in early January. Cabin is clean, very well equipped and has everything you will need. Easy to get to with paved roads. Owners are excellent to work with. Great location in a very relaxing area. Wonderful mountian views. Would go here again without hesitation.

This cabin is in great condition and is very cozy. It was well equipped with everything we needed and we were very comfortable. It is very well insulated, so we didn't need the fire much even though it was really cold. Convenient to lots of great places to explore.

Recently my brother, sister-in-law, wife and I thoroughly enjoyed a five night stay in Mystic Mountain Cabin. We found everything about the cabin to be just as represented and even nicer than we had expected. The fully covered front porch was a great asset due to a couple of days of inclimate weather. Being pet friendly was a requirement for us and, rest assured, my two miniature Dachunds had quite a stay as well. The handy charcoal grill was put to good use and a toasty fire was enjoyed by all every night. Without any reservations, we would all recommend Mystic Mountain to anyone and look forward to staying there again soon.

Mystic Mntn. Cabin is a very comfortable cabin. I was in the area on buisness and I looked forward to coming back in the evenings and relaxing on the front porch of the Mystic Cabin. It has everything you need. Ideal for vacation or buisness.

I was impressed with the quality of service provided by the owner of this vacation rental. Quick, friendly and comprehensive information made all the arrangements a snap. I was very pleased by the way all transactions were carried out over the Internet. Very clean and well-supplied, this modest cabin in the woods provides a quiet and comfortable place to serve as headquarters while taking advantage of the many activities in the area, or just as a wonderful retreat in its own right. The only drawback is a pretty rough public road leading to it that needs a lot of repair. But I couldn not have ask for better treatment by the owners, and am happy to recommend "Mystic Mountain" to others.

Mystic Mountain proved to be a wonderful, quiet getaway for my busy family. We relished the opportunity to relax in the quiet beauty of the mountains. Donna was great to work with, and responded to emails immediately. The hocket game was lots of fun, and the video library gave us a night of relaxation. I have nothing but praise for entire experience.

The owners were very responsive to all requests and questions.
The house was comfortable, well-equipped, and relatively convenient to the area sights. It was also peaceful and quiet - with a nice side view of mountains in the distance.
Having a cup of coffee on the covered porch in the morning was a wonderful way to start the day.

We really enjoyed the cabin. It was very clean and felt like home. The fireplace was especially nice on the cold evenings. We rented this cabin so we could bring our dog with us. That was a real treat for us and our Miniature Schnauzer. We also went to the Biltmore Estate for the beginning of the Christmas celebration during our stay. We loved it and would definitely stay there again.

We so loved our stay at your cabin. There were no surprises when we arrived,, everything was exactly as you described. We felt at home from the instant we pulled into the driveway,,,, and that was made possible by the snow scraping service that your community provides !
Everything we could possibly have needed was provided for us. From cooking utensils, to linens to the cute little welcome basket that was waiting for us when we arrived.
We are hoping to make a trip up this summer and enjoy some of the warm weather treats that Gatlinburg has to offer.
