Creek 'n Woods I is a Smoky Mountain vacation rental cabin in Maggie Valley, NC. This 3 bedroom, 2 bath cabin sleeps 6-8 people, and is fully furnished-all you need to bring are your clothes and food. The cabin is located on a creek (very kid friendly) in the woods, and whether you're sitting on the large open deck on the back of the house, the smaller open deck off the second floor, or are sitting in the rocking chairs on the L-shaped covered porch-the soothing sounds of the creek can be heard. Friends and I were planning a visit to town for a weekend wedding and discovered Creek N Woods I on FlipKey.
The home was nestled right next a creek and had all the amenities we needed at the ready. Our only regret is that we didn't have longer to sit on the bank deck enjoying the surroundings.
The owners couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful! You will not be disappointed. -

cabin is wonderful! Very clean and has all you could want or need, like home away from home. They even give you home made cookies (2 dozen and I had to call and complain about them not having more) LOL. Tom was very friendly and willing to be of service to our needs. Only thing disapointing is most of the town is closed for winter, so not much to do. Will be back during summer months nd try again.

We just stayed in cabin # 1. March 8 -11, 2013. The cabin was perfect for our family of 4. We could have shared it grandma and grandpa too. :) From the first phone call Tom, the owner, was so helpful and genuine. The home had everything we needed to feel relaxed and comfy cozy. Susan, the owner's assistant even sang "Happy Birthday" to our daughter upon giving her the birthday cake that Tom and Sue had ready for our arrival. The homemade cookies in the cookie jar made me feel just as if we had arrived at my Grandmother's house.

We stayed at Creek 'n Woods I with our three kids and my in-laws for three days. We had a wonderful time! The house is comfy and has anything and everything you could need. It is only 15 minutes to the ski slopes and is located on the most beautiful creek. Creek 'n Woods I is in a nice area, surrounded by other lovely homes. The Knapkos are gracious and thoughtful hosts and are available for any needs that might arise. The hot tub was very clean and we enjoyed using it in the evenings. It was a terrific stay and we will definitely stay again!

We had a great weekend getaway with our family. While the younger ones enjoyed skiing, we enjoyed the fireplace and relaxing. It's wonderful to hear the creek out back. Of course everyone loved the hot tub. The home was well furnished and comfortable. The hosts are very friendly, just a phone call away and don't mind coming out to fix things if needed. Would love to go back in the spring when the rhododendrums are blooming.

Our stay at creek n woods III we found a warm inviting cabin with everthing we needed. we just brought our clothes and food. Tom meet us showed everthing we needed to know and our vacation started and ended great. Tom and Sue thank you for the wonderful cabin and the warm inviting place to stay.

Great reception!
Overall great quality in every aspect: kitchen, living room, TV, wi-fi, chimney, hot tub, etc.
The hot tub is awesome, placed on a balcony that faces a small natural stream, with an spectacular view.

Loved the location of the cabin in the woods by a stream. The kids loved the salamanders that they found in the stream. The neighborhood chipmunks were entertaining as well. Loved the fireplace in the den.

We truly our first-time visit at Creek n' Woods 1 at Maggie Valley, North Carolina. We decided on the property based on all the positive reviews we had read and were pleasantly surprised to find that they were all true, right down to the freshly baked chocolate chip cookies that awaited us as we met Tom and Sue for the check-in. They helped us to get quickly settled and then shared information with us about local attractions and shopping based on our preferences. That proved to be very helpful and made our visit that much more enjoyable. The property was clean, bright, private, and comfortable. When we next decide to vacation in the Smoky Mountains area we will without hesitation reserve one of Tom and Sue's properties knowing that what we will find will be as good and even better "than advertised"!

This complete home has everything anyone would need. It is equipped with all supplies. The only thing we bought was food.
The setting was perfect if you like hill side, woods, creek within a few feet, tons of decking and all modern facilities. -

We stayed at the Creek n Woods I cabin while attending a wedding in Waynesville. We loved it here!! The cabin is very conveniently located near asheville and Waynesville, and unlike other cabins we have stayed in, it was not difficult to get to. We loved the beautiful deck and hearing the creek below us. We also enjoyed the large hot tub on the deck. The cabin itself was very comfortable (especially the beds upstairs!) and extremely well-stocked (had food, towels, toiletries, iron, washer/dryer - everything we needed). The owners even baked us cookies! We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in the area, and we hope to return someday!

Tom and Sue were both pleasant and personable. They have their routine worked out perfectly. Checking in and checking out was flawless. We all rode in on motorcycles. Tom and Sue had our groceries waiting for us in the cabin. That was a huge plus for a large group without a way to grocery shop. The cabin was very clean, decorated beautifully, and comfortable. I always miss my bed at home when we are on a trip. Not the case this past weekend. The beds were so comfy and I slept very well! We will definitely be back in the near future and I will recommend Creek'n Woods to my friends. Thank you for the wonderful getaway!

This was very nicely kept home! The owners pay a lot of attention to detail. They want you to feel as though you are there guests not just someone renting there home. The home comes stocked very well with all the basics and much more. Easy rental. Would highly recommend.

The cabin had a rustic feel but all the amenities we needed! Loved the balcony and deck, porch and especially hot tub! Very clean cabin! So relaxing!!! The chocolate chip cookies the owners made added that personal touch!!

The cabin was very clean and loved the fact that it was fully stocked kitchen. Also, I nice grill outside to use and beautiful hot tub. We enjoyed the wonderful views and the wonderful owners Sue and Tom. They were very accomodating and treated us with a nice welcome of homemade cookies, cake that was for myself and mysons birthday and candy. That made us feel like family.

The service was great and the house was very clean. Fresh flowers, cookies, and the bottle of wine was a nice welcome gesture and we all appreciate them. Our group enjoyed their walkes around the beautiful gulf course as well as climbing the surraunding mountains. The location is very good but we would recommend to visit the area in October to see more colors in nature. We enjoyes our stay very much.

Tom and Sue were wonderful hosts. They greeted us when we arrived and introduced us to the comforts of Creek in the Woods 1. They had provided delicious homemade chocolate chip cookies, biscotti, and Starbucks coffee for breakfast. But, their kindness did not stop there. After a hiking accident, they graciously offered and delivered a dinner to our cabin before we even got home. Had their been none of their uniquely special amenities, the cabin itself was extremely comfortable, clean, and homey. We ate all our dinners in the cabin and enjoyed evening times in the hot tub listening to the creek and looking at the stars.

We found absolutely everything in great shape including freshly baked Choc chip cookies. We appreciated the well supplied kitchen including Starbucks, biscotti and all the condiments one could want. The full wrap around deck supplied many relaxing hours with hottub, grill and babbling stream. The gasfireplace accompanied morning starbucks and biscotti with a nice warm glow.
All clean organized and stress free - looking forward to our next visit.
We wanted to give 5 stars but the system only allowed us to leave 4 - could be a tablet thing, but it was excellent.

What a great place to stay and Sue and Tom make it feel like home. We love this place so much that we rent it every year at the same time. We always have a warm batch of cookies or bread waiting for us when we get there. The even offer to do the grocery shopping for us so everything is there when we get in. Tom and Sue provided a perfect getaway experience. Not only was their cabin beautiful, clean, tastefully decorated and comfortable they went a step further and meticulously thought of every detail to ensure that our experience would be a positive one. We were welcomed with a batch of freshly baked cookies and a bottle of wine. Anything that might be needed was found in their kitchen. I felt like I was at home and needed no last minute runs to the store. Their thoughtfulness allowed my family to maximize our time skiing and enjoying Maggie Valley. I will most definitely recommend as I myself will be a returning customer.

My Lady and I, with our best friends have spent a week's vacation at this beautiful cabin for the last four years in the Fall to enjoy the colorful change of seasons. Tom and Sue, the owners, treat you like family. There is a jar of fresh baked cookies awaiting your arrival and they assure that all your needs are met. A great cabin tucked away on a wooded lot, very peaceful and quiet, with paved street access. Yet, you are minutes away from stores, shops and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The cabin is set up with everything you will need for your stay and relaxation, including a fully equipped kitchen, a gas barbeque and a hot tub.

A charming home at the top of the hill awaited us, surrounded by abundant trees and quietness. Upon entering the home, we found a note from the owners, welcoming us,along with a cookie jar full of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. On the kitchen counter was a jar of biscotti as well as Starbucks coffee in the freezer as a welcome gift. The home was very clean, well apponted and decorated beautifully! We enjoyed the hot tub on the deck overlooking a marvelous creek. The gas grill and picnic table allowed us to experience the outdoors even more. The location is about 5 minutes from the town of Maggie Valley and close to delightful Hendersonville. Asheville is only a short drive away. This is the place to come for a relaxing vacation!

I learned about Creek n Woods from their website. We have vacationed in the area for over 15 yrs. and wanted a quieter place. My father's 92 birthday was the reason and choice. The house was perfect for him as well as all of us. Plenty of outdoor and indoor space, amenities galore, and truly a time we all enjoyed. The owners cannot be any nicer and everything is available to you in their homes. We are going to visit again and again and my try out other of their rentals. If you don't want a lot of stairs and easy access for elderly this is the home for you. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit the appalachians and within easy access to Waynesville for festivals, etc.

We had a most wonderful Christmas vacation, the owners "Tom and Sue" were the most gracious and accommidating people we have ever dealt with.The cabin was perfect, a Christmas tree and other decorations greeted us.Sue had made chocolate chip cookies for Drew...and Dad. We had lots of snow and Drew had a ball playing in it, tubing, sledding and snow board lessons at the nearby Ski resort. We will definately return, God willing.
