17 mi. from Cherokee - 90 mi East of Knoxville, TN. Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg are within 1 hour's drive, as well as the Dillsboro Train, Sylva, Bryson City and Franklin. Of course the Blue Ridge Parkway is a only couple miles away. Drive over to the Cataloochee Ranch and dusk and watch the plentiful wildlife including fox, deer, wild turkeys, and the grand elk grazing on the bottom lands. This is the place for a wonderful drive, playing in the ice cold streams, visiting the old churches, homeplaces and rushing streams. You will appreciate remembering to bring a picnic lunch and blanket for a nostalgic picnic in the country here.
Horseback riding, kayaking, trout streams, fishing, golfing and antique shopping are within minutes. So many things to see and do that you will want to make sure you allow plenty of time to get it all in during your mountain vacation.
Parking: Sufficient parking for 1-2 vehicles but IS NOT accessible by motorcycle or trailers.
Handicap Accessibility: Unfortunately, our home is not readily handicap accessible due to many stairs.
Small children and the elderly should be monitored carefully on home's stairs, decks and hot tubs.

Everything was perfect. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The view was breathtaking. We all decided that we would go back to Maggie Valley in a second. The men enjoyed the golf courses and us girls enjoyed shopping. Everyone was happy.

Vert nice place, but have rented better on the Tenn. side.
Have called the Clarks for refund of deposit, but no return call. Have not received the refund. So be carefull.

I do very much appreciate your taking the time to complete a review of our home. I am very sorry that your visit was not one of a positive nature, and since this is the first negative review I have had in 10 years don't quite know what to say.
I am very confused however as to your review. I did call you at the home and left a voice mail to make sure all was as expected and there were no problems, just as I try to do with all my guests. I assumed so since I heard nothing back. I also have not received a phone call at all regarding your deposit, and as such when I called you to confirm your method of deposit refund, you indicated that you had a wonderful time, all was well and it was a great place. Your deposit was immediately processed through my bank for refund as you instructed.
I always list all my contact information on the rental agreement so that all my guests can contact me at any time. Again, even though I am confused I do hope that you enjoyed your stay and Thank you again for visiting Falcon Ridge.

This house affords you fantastic views from the front deck. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. The location provide privacy and solitude with plenty of fun activities close by. We especially enjoyed golf at some of the local courses.

We stayed during the week of 7/21/12 with our grandkids, and have been to Maggie Valley many times. Falcon Ridge has the best view, is cleaner, and better stocked than other cabins, and Jeannie is very pleasant and informative. We were there during a heat-wave, and with no airconditioning it was hot in the cabin during the afternoons. We opened the windows and sliding glass doors at night and the cool mountain air made for an enjoyable evening. We have a Lincoln aviator with rear-wheel drive. Robin Roost Road can present a challenge. Put your vehicle in the lowest-gear and take curves wide and slow. Very pleasant stay. We will return.

We realize that your time is very valuable and that makes us that much more appreciative that you took a few moments to write your very kind review of your stay at Falcon Ridge.
While it is rare for a heat wave in the mountains, we do realize it can get a little stuffy inside in the late afternoon for an hour or so. I am sure you realized quickly that by closing the blinds for just less than an hour and running the many ceiling fans, windows and doors open - as soon as the sun goes down you will be reaching for a light wrap or blanket as the evening temps drop quickly. This always makes for a most comfortable evening and night usually ranging in the low to mid 60's at night - even during a heat wave. So happy you enjoyed your visit and come back real soon.

This Mountain home was very relaxing. Peaceful setting and great views. Close enough to restaurants and shopping. Clean & very comfortable. Great hot tub on deck. We would definitely recommend it and would really like to come back here again.

Our stay at Falcon Ridge was a very wonderful time away, the height above the street made it an incredible vantage point to view the scenery as well as look down on the fireworks display on July 4th.
Equipped with two balconies off all the living space made it a beautiful home away from home. The home is very well appointed with all the conveniences one could ask for, the hot tub worked great and was extremely clean. Our family absolutely loved staying in your beautiful house. It was amazing to be in the clouds, looking down from the mountain top. The house was very comfortable for the three of us. The road took a little getting used to, but didn't really cause any problems. The decks are wonderful and we were very pleasantly surprised at how thoroughly stocked the kitchen is with any possible item we could have needed. I would highly recommend this property for vacationers. We stayed in Maggie Valley to visit relatives and found many things to do and visit in the area. We loved mining rubies, riding horseback to a mountain top, and visiting Cherokee to see the museum and casino. Jeannie was very helpful and easy to communicate with. Thanks!

The house was beautiful, the view was out of this world. We ate on the deck most every evening. Loved not having to be inside in aC. It was so enjoyable. Was glad to get use to the drive up to the house.

An outstanding house, welcome hot tub, and beautiful views. We really enjoyed our week there. The first time up the 3 switchbacks in the access road were a bit of a challenge, but once we got used to the road, we had no problems. Would go back in a heartbeat.
