Sitting in the heart of Maggie Valley is a spacious, three level home with wonderful long-range views of the Smoky Mountains. The sights from the private deck are enough to leave you breathless—and we haven’t even touched on the indoor amenities.

This contemporary country home boasts three spacious bedrooms plus a bonus room, making it the perfect getaway for groups. Carolina Mountain Dream can easily sleep ten people, although couples have found it to be a lovely escape for two. The master bedroom is especially luxurious, with a king-size bed, a TV, large walk-in closet, and an in-suite bathroom with his-and-her sinks and shower. The upstairs guest bedroom features two twin trundle beds and a stunning display of the surrounding area from the dormer windows. The downstairs bedroom has a queen size bed and is adjacent to a sitting room complete with two rocking chairs to allow you an opportunity to relax and gaze at the natural beauty just on the other side of the glass.

Walking into the main level, you’ll be greeted by an open concept floor plan and plush furniture which creates a spacious, relaxed environment—the kind of place to get lost in a good book, watch a movie, or simply enjoy a roaring fire. The kitchen features all major appliances as well as, stone countertops, and again a mountain view. Since we know everyone likes to get away, but still needs to be “connected,” guests are also welcome to take advantage of the free Wi-Fi.

You may not even want to come inside after spending some time on the porch, sipping tea or hot chocolate depending on the season, and watching the sun set behind the peaks directly ahead of you.

Given the size, quality, and location of Carolina Mountain Dream, you’ll be hard-pressed to find better value elsewhere. Our rates include those sometimes-hidden charges like holiday surcharges, reservation and cleaning fees. Many of our guests are repeat customers.

In terms of location, Carolina Mountain Dream couldn’t be better situated. Bird watchers are in for a treat; the area around us boasts numerous species for you to discover. You’ll also find much to love in Pisgah National Forest and the famous Blue Ridge Parkway, which is considered “America’s Favorite Drive.” Both are located close by.

The Smoky Mountains offer an array of activities all year long, and Carolina Mountain Dream provides a superior home base for exploring North Carolina’s natural beauty. Waynesville, just 15 minutes away, has opportunities for golf, fishing, horseback riding, rafting, shopping, and skiing; Maggie Valley itself offers everything from skiing to horseback riding to zip lining at the newly re-opened Ghost Town which is just a five minute drive from our home. Outdoor magazine has consistently rated nearby Asheville as one of the top destinations for outdoor recreation and adventures. All three towns have excellent restaurants, or you can easily pick up groceries at the local market.
