Surrounded by a canopy of trees, you will surely enjoy the bright and cheerful screened in sun room. You are provided with everything you need to make your trip to the mountains enjoyable. You are only minutes away from Ghost Town in the Sky amusement park, and Harrah’s Cherokee Casino. No matter what your reason for visiting the mountains, you will be happy you chose to stay in “The Mountain Landing”.

For several years my three sisters & I have gone to the mountains for a little R & R this time of year (Oct). The past two times we have stayed at The Mountain Landing in Maggie Valley, NC. The home is just perfect for the four of us. It is always clean & comfortable. It is not "fancy", but we always feel at home & enjoy the atmosphere of the home. The sunroom is especially nice for coffee & chatting in the morning. We always make use of the hot tub in the evenings & then spend time watching TV in front of the fireplace. The people who own it leave literature on places to go, things to do, & all the resturants in the area. Although there is easy access to the main road, it is quiet & peaceful. The only drawback is the road leading to this home could use a little maintenance. It would be perfect for a couple with a two children, two couples, or like us; four sisters.

Beautiful Cabin. Very homey..Very peaceful..after family emergency..Just what I needed..Just a suggestion..looking out to right from porch the deteriated house and lumber should be taken care of. Other than that I enjoyed my stay.. Staff was very nice.
