Whether on business or pleasure in the Seychelles, this exquisite fully air-conditioned, spacious Maison on Eden Island, offers guests comfort and style, with breathtaking views of the azure sea and majestic granitic mountains, adorned in lush emerald green foliage. This stunning view enjoyed from every room, instantly captivates... guests, inducing a sense of utter relaxation and peacefulness. Complimenting that of nature, interiors and finishes have been carefully chosen to further enhance the natural textures and colours of this tropical paradise island.

The three storey Maison with its unique Creole vernacular architectural style, boasts open plan living on the ground floor with contemporary furniture. The lounge comfortably seats eight and has a 40" LCD T.V. and DVD player with surround speakers. The dining room also seating eight is adjacent to the fully fitted kitchen with top of the range appliances. With folding stacking doors opening up to the large patio complete with BBQ and outdoor furniture, many alfresco dinners or sundowners can be enjoyed. Extending from the patio, a manicured private garden complete with tropical plants leads onto a private jetty for the convenience of boat enthusiasts who wish to explore the inner islands and beyond.

The first floor features two air-conditioned spacious bedrooms. Master bedroom boasts a king size bed with plush bedding and in-room safe and hair dryer. It has an en-suite bathroom complete with bath, shower, double vanity and separate toilet and bidet. Second Bedroom features two single beds with en-suite bathroom complete with shower, single vanity and separate toilet. Bedrooms lead onto an oversized covered balcony complete with four cushioned recliners ideal for that afternoon siesta, reading a good book or just merely taking in the beauty of paradise!

Second floor features a functional air-conditioned bedroom ideal for the business man seeking refuge from the rest of the household and is complete with office desk and small lounge. Alternatively, this large bedroom is ideal for children sharing, as it features two single beds and a queen size sleeper sofa with en-suite bathroom consisting of a shower, single vanity and separate toilet.

We can accommodate guests with babies as we have a portable cot/playpen which can be placed in any of the three bedrooms.

The townhouse, ideally positioned with the powdery white, Anse Bernitier beach, a mere 50m away provides safe swimming for adults and children alike. Anse Bernitier with its crystal clear waters and colourful coral, teeming with a plethora of marine life will ensure hours of entertainment. Within walking distance away, the protected newly opened Anse Bernik beach is also awaiting to be explored. Anse Tec Tec beach is the third beach on the island and is either reachable on foot or for the not so fit, on the complimentary golf cart.

Eden Island has two swimming pools, both with separate kid's pool. The one closest to our property is approximately 200m away and the other, slightly further away is positioned at the clubhouse. The clubhouse offers guests a fully equipped gym, well stocked Deli, lounge area and jungle gym for the children.

Other facilities on offer are two restaurants, the Boardwalk bar and lounge, located on the boardwalk, a mere 100m from the super-yacht pontoon, which plays host to live bands and DJs on certain evenings. It also has two big screens which feature international sports. The other Restaurant is Bravo on Eden, located at Eden House. This restaurant with a great venue and exciting menu will welcome guests, treating them to an array of flavours from around the world.

Additional Location Information

Eden Island is located just off the east coast of the main island of Mahe and is linked to the main land by a 300m bridge. Eden Island is conveniently positioned with Mahe International airport and Victoria centre only 10 minutes away by car. The inner-islands can also be reached easily with a regular network of air and sea transportation. Boat charters can be arranged to leave from Eden Island’s marina or our very own private jetty.
The location of the Townhouse within the resort of Eden Island has an excellent position as the beach Bernitier is positioned a couple of metres from the townhouse. Large playground complete with jungle gym is also within walking distance.

  Luxury well defined!!!

  We (family of four with two little boys) had a wonderful stay in this Maison '83' within Eden Island for 10 days in Dec/Jan 2013. The whole experience was breathtaking, luxury is well defined around the house, everything is in its place just where you would wish to find it, the Maison is very well furnished with very high quality equipments & furniture, there is nothing a miss, very comfortable, the beddings are comfortable and towels more comfortable than most hotels...there's lots of space around the house thus suitable for everyone within a family or a group of friends. The Maison is close to most beaches within Eden Island and the golf car provided makes moving around very easy and fun, the beaches within Eden Island are nice and relaxing early in the morning and late in the evenings, the swimming pool is refreshing on a hot day and any time too, but be adventurous and experience the natural beaches within Mahé Island because there is nothing more breathtaking than the endless ocean waters and the white uncrowded beaches of Seychelles. There is a bus stop just outside Eden Island if you wish to use public transport but recommend car hire as the buses take long as they stop everywhere and can be very crowded. The Maison has a very nice view of the marina and the mountaneous landscape of the Island. There are very nice restaurants within Eden Island too. The owner of this house is very friendly in her communication and getting our deposit back was the most easy thing something that many people would worry about. The housekeeper is also every friendly! We had an experience of a lifetime within Eden Island and Mahé!!!

  We stayed in a 3 bedoom Maison which was as good as the pictures suggested.
  
  If you are looking for a more beautiful version of the caribbean then you won't be disappointed. The water is clear and turquoise, the landscape green and lush and the island small enough to drive around in a few hours.
  
  I am looking to return again next year.
  
  The downside of the Seychelles is that it is a typical island, the pace is slow, very little fresh vegetables to eat, most food is imported, and prices reflect this issue.
  
  Internet speeds are unbelievably slow. It is a shame that the owners of the property do not pay for a decent service as we had to pay an internet cafe a daily amount of at least £15 per day to get decent speed for the three people who needed to access the internet during our holiday stay.

  I have had the good fortune of staying at this magnificent Maison for a week. Superb views of the aquamarine coloured marina with the mountain as the backdrop. All the he rooms are luxurious and beautifully furnished. The Maison is very well appointed with all the mod cons one could wish for. The grounds are delightful to walk around, expertly maintained and so tranquil. The beach is located a stone throw away from the residence with excellent snorkeling, even witnessed a Scorpion fish. What a delight!!!

  The apartment is beautifully presented and very well equipped. The housekeeper was very nice and made our stay even more relaxing. The building works on Eden Island, which we were a little apprehensive about are mostly unnoticeable. We enjoyed the gym and the beaches on Eden Island - until we got more adventurous and discovered the natural beaches on Mahé with huge Takamaka trees.

  We spent 8 days on mahe and Eden island is fabulous . there is construction going on on the island but is fairly contained > the beautiful beaches , swimming and snorkelling o the beaches at Eden was amazing. This is a great family holiday consisting of family time and swimming. with warm water even when it rains . Restaurants are expensive , but we had great food. Apartment had everything we needed, . The only thing that one needs would be great to have a boat to do some of your own exploring.. Highly reccomended.
