Mahahual Luxury Condominiums are located between the lighthouse and the Costa Maya Pier. The 12 unit condominium project is far enough from town that you can still hear the waves at night, but close enough to walk into town for breakfast the next morning. This place is fantastic! The condos are nice. All recent construction and very nicely appointed. We were able to walk downstairs, around the pool and into the beautiful blue caribbean waters with our snorkel gear whenever we decided it was a good time to do so. The snorkeling from the beach was fantastic not to mention some of the incredible locations in the area. The rooftop viewing areas are worth mentioning. What a great place to sit with a cocktail and watch the sunset from the hot tub and enjoy the warm caribbean breeze.
Everybody loved it. It was a resort style vacation without resort style crowds and throngs of Cancun tourist. We will definitely be back! -

I spent 3 days here with my family and had a great time. The condo's are right near the water and I spent a whole day just staring out at the crystal blue ocean. We even had a view of the cruise ship as it came into port and I never realized how big those things were. The boardwalk was a 15 minute walk from the condo where we found a lot of great restaurants and shops.
I also highly recommend checking out the Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve nearby. We saw a plethora of wildlife from iguanas, crabs, pelicans, foxes and supposedly every now and then people will see a jaguar. -

The rooms were great quality, similar to what you would expect from a popular tourist destination like Cancun, but the great thing is they're tucked away from the downtown area. You can walk (or drive) downtown for breakfast in the morning, hike through the jungle in the afternoon, grab dinner along the coast, and listen to the waves while watching the sunset, all in one day!

Excellent place to stay, beautiful sunrise views from every room, very private. Nested between the Caribbean jungle and the Caribbean ocean and yet very close to town. You can take a dip on the beautiful large pool or just walk few steps to the ocean. Great for snorkel, healthy corral loaded fish. Can’t wait to come back
