Your home away from home.

The property is located at 7829 Makati Ave and was recently renovated in December 2017 to include; all new linens, curtains, flooring, paint, artwork, safe, kitchen appliances, shower system, printer/copier/scanner, etc. As per the request of several past guests, an additional larger wardrobe was added. The 1 bedroom unit features granite counters in the kitchen and bathroom, microwave/convection oven, washer/dryer, fully equipped kitchen with plates, bowls, silverware, rice cooker, toaster, etc., everything just like home. You will always have internet access as the unit has a WIFI router and 2 internet connections (Cable and DSL) with unlimited access. A landline phone is available for local calls only. A cell phone is also available for guest use (minutes can be purchased cheap at 7-Eleven). The best cable system is available with HD channels (Skycable Platinum package) along with a new LG 43" LED Smart TV and DVD Home Theater Surround Sound with subwoofer for that true live sound which makes watching movies that much more fun. The unit has a queen size hotel quality bed good for 2 persons with a fold out queen sofa bed in the living room for an additional 2 persons.

Enjoy the beautiful view of Makati from the small balcony or take in the Infinity pool on the 4th floor, or the restaurant...the spa...the gym..., the 3 level mall built on the adjacent lot connecting to the building and now the brand new SM Hypemart (grocery) just recently opened next door. The location is great with 100's of restaurants, bars etc., within walking distance and less than 5 minutes taxi ride to the popular Glorietta and Greenbelt Malls. Taxi service easily available right outside the lobby, just ask the guards to grab you one!

The entire building is extremely secure as door men and guards are on duty 24 hours a day and roam the floors. Each floor also contains CCTV throughout the hallways. You won't have a problem with beggars, solicitors, etc. in front of the building as commonplace throughout Manila. If you're worried about safeguarding your important travel documents, a new digital safe has been added to the unit.

Parking is not included with the unit and pay parking fees can be located on the listing specifics. Housekeeping is provided with the rent of this unit, but the owner/caretaker shall also provide the tenant all amenities in which to maintain additional cleanliness of the unit. Housekeeping times will be arranged with the caretaker upon arrival as many guests prefer different times. Housekeeping only includes cleaning of the unit, vacuuming, dusting, dishes, and once a week linen and towel exchange. Guest personal laundry is not included, but a washer/dryer is available in the unit for personal use.

This is not a money making opportunity for me in the least, this is my home and I only rent it to keep it occupied and in use while I am out of town. Therefore the number of guests staying in the unit is limited to 4 maximum to keep the normal wear and tear to a minimum. Guests in excess of 4 for longer than a short house visit will be noticed by security and asked to vacate the premises.

The hotel portion of the building bills out for 6500 pesos per night, and the hotel rooms aren't nearly as outfitted as mine. Book with me, and spend that money on other things during your trip. Prices are 100% inclusive of all costs associated with renting the unit, in other words...this is all you would pay. I do not entertain requests for visits prior to bookings or the exact unit # for security reasons.

A 100 USD Security Deposit will be included in the invoice at time of booking This deposit will be automatically returned to your form of payment through FlipKey within 72 hours after checkout.

Getting around

Getting around Makati is done strictly by taxi, which is extremely cheap and available right out front of the unit. I do not recommend any foreign guests attempt to drive in Makati unless they have done so before. Drivers are very wild and traffic signals seem to be optional.

Interaction with guest

My caretaker, Ms. Jaqueline will meet all guests in the lobby upon their arrival to the condo and answer any questions you may have. We will get your estimated arrival time at the lobby after you have made your booking and all travel arrangements. She is very knowledgeable of the area, so please ask her anything concerning your stay in Makati and she will be sure to answer it.
