We stayed one week in the house two weeks ago and it was very cool. The house is clean and gives you a good base for visiting the region (by car). The little garden is restfull and the swimming pool and the sea access are easy.
The furniture needs to be refresh but are confortable for a couple or a little family. Claire, a friend of anne Marie was very helpfull when we arrived.
Ps : We had tested a great indian restaurant. It was recommended by Claire : Mahari, 5mn of walk from the house.

Weymouth, United KingdomBasic but a good base to discover area
Left on 10/03/2011 for a stay in September 2011
Firstly the lady who looked after the apartment Claire was extremely helpful and friendly and went out of her way to assist us throughout our stay when asked. Thank You!
The Villa was spottlessly clean on arrival and had a few personal touches i.e a small book library and plenty of bedding / towels. British Freeview was a nice novelty and was useful in the evenings.
The Villa is probably more suitable for a small family rather than four adults.
The villa is a fantastic base to discover the area, we even managed to visit Morocco for the day!!!
There were a few downsides, the villa is quite dated. We also found that towards the end of the stay we couldn't use the pool as it had been contaminated.
The biggest downside for us were the 'rules and regulations' there were numerous rules from the residents committee regarding the swimming pool etc, i.e you can't take sun loungers to the pool, and although some people may find it reassuring we found the security a bit overwhelming - 2 gates and a heavily secured front door each time we wanted to step outside!
However the rules and regulations worked well in the sense that it was really quiet and tranquil and we didn't have to worry about party animals!!
The biggest thing for us was that air conditioning was installed however not available when renting out, it was so hot we found it hard to sleep and in turn weren't as relaxed as we could have been in the evenings.
To summarise this isn't a villa for you if you want a luxury stay, but is good value for money and with a bit of modernisation and inclusive air conditioning would improve things.
I would recommend you visit the local travel agent in Calahonda as the trip to Morocco was fantastic and very good value for money. -

LondonGreat break away
Left on 07/22/2010 for a stay in June 2010
We were looking for a summer holiday as yet again the summer has dodged the UK, and the Costa Del Sol was guaranteed to give us sun, fun and sangria! We were working to a budget and this villa fitted our needs perfectly. We were minutes walk from the bars, shops and supermarkets, which was perfect for us as we had planned to eat in as much as poss. We were pleasantly surprised as to how close the pool was (lovely!) and beach (across the main road). When we wanted to go further afield, we caught the local bus which took us to Marbella and Fuengirola within half hour each way. Great value for money for a lovely traditional villa that has all the mod-cons we needed. Will be booking again! ^_^

SurreyGreat place to stay - excellent value for money

We had a fantastic stay in this villa. It was an excellent location from which to travel around, roughly half way between Malaga and Marbella. It was clean, bright and just a stone's throw from the community swimming pool and tennis court. Within walking distance from the house there are supermarkets, cafes and restuarants and the beach is just across the road. We didn't hire a car but there are regular buses in the direction of both Marbella and Malaga and taxis are reasonable. Excellent value for money - would recommend to anyone.

Good connection to appartment from Malaga airport by train and bus. There are house rules and regulations for behaviour in the community - I like peace and quiet so this reminder to everyone was beneficial! Problems with TV, cookerhood light, butane gas bottle were fixed by manager without delay. Nice pool. Pleasant community garden and nice view of surrounding area. Good house facilities. Supermarket very near and late shopping possible. Easy walking distance to the clean beach and the assortment of little restaurants. Easy bus access to Fuengirola and night live. Car rental easy to get aswell for excursions.
