Casa Duende is a suprising accomodation with a private swimmingpool. Very quiet and situated in open countryside in the South of Spain. This part of Andalucia, named Axarquía, is situated east of Málaga. Still unexplored and a contrast to the “Costa del Sol�.

The wide view at the yet intimate scenic landscape extends from the Sierra Tejada in the north on to a spark of the Mediterranean Sea in the south. After a passable sandy road of 3,5 km you will stand before the diligent northern entrance of the house. This side protects the open and charming southern side with the large mediterranean garden.

Light and sky are reflecti...ng in this ‘casa de campo’; so inside becomes outside in this recently built holiday house.

The interior is a mix of contemporary style with personal accents from past and present. The living with log burner and the well-equipped kitchen are situated in one space with three wide opening doors, which lead to the terraces in the mediterranean garden.

Facilities: Internet connection, TV-satellitedishreceiver, DVD-CD player, Ipod connection, Wii, washing machine and dishwasher, GSM-cover.

The sleepingroom on the groundfloor has a double-bed with toilet/shower room and is separated from the mainhouse by a corridor.

On the first floor are the bathroom (bath, shower and toilet) and the other two sleepingrooms. One with a double-bed and the other with two separate beds. Both rooms have wide opening doors to the balcony, which connects the two terraces over the full length. Agreeable covered outside areas, which offer privacy and peace, including spectacular views.

Heading for Casa Duende you follow the ‘Ruta Mudéjar’. This road leads along the Natural Park to the ‘pueblos blancos’ Canillas de Aceituno, Sedella and Salares. The region called Axarquía is an unspoilt jewel of nature.
Sedella (700 inh) lies close to Casa Duende (5 km).
The Maroma (2065m) is the highest summit of the Parque Natural Sierra Tejada y Almijara and in winter often snow capped. The presence of mountains and the proximity of the sea offer special flora and fauna. Ideal for hikers and nature lovers. In the villages are simple shops, cozy bars and restaurants. Around authentic seaside resort Torre del Mar (40 min) you will find shoppingcentra and large supermarkets.
Car necessary.
