The 2-bedroom apartment for rent is in a house located in beautiful Mediterranean surroundings - in Valdarke area, a resort of holiday houses situated on Losinj island, halfway between the Mali and Veli Losinj. The house is in a Mediterranean pine wood, just 20 meters from the sea – by the sea walkway (lungo mare). The sea is crystal clear blue, and the air is rich with natural sea aerosols which are benefitial for human health. That is why Losinj island is famous not only for its wonderful mild climate with lots of sunshine, but also as a climatic health resort since 1892.

This is the place to go when you want a vacation freed from stress. The location is excellent, just next to the sea, and on a walking distance from two Losinj's. The terrace is simply fantastic, you'll spend most of the time outside, that's for sure. Easygoing owner adds to the overall relaxed approach. Highly recommended!

This apartment was perfect for a vacation with 2 little kids. The apartment is surrounded by a thick pine forest, just next to the sea! On the terrace we had a perfect shade during the whole day. It takes a 15-minute walk to get to the center of Mali Losinj, and also takes a 15-minute walk to get to the center Of Veli Losinj.
The apartment is very nice, despite that we haven't been inside much - it was so nice to be in the terrace, view the sea and listen to the murmur of the forest and sea waves.
Would definitely stay there again. -

Our stay at this house has given us full comfort and even exceeded our expectations. We abundantly used the beautiful terrace with a sea-view and enjoyed it very much, especially in the evenings. The house is situated in a wood very close to the sea - the distance from the secluded and almost private beach is not more than 15m. Underneath the garden there is a sea-walk (lungo mare) which connects the towns of Mali and Veli Losinj at the approximately same distance from the house in opposite directions. You can walk, cycle and of course travel by boat between those two places. I do not remember us ever before enjoying just walking by the sea as much as we enjoyed it at this place. The possibilities for healthy activities like walking, running, swimming, cycling or even hiking up the nearby hills are actually countless in almost all directions. We do not only believe, we are sure that we will spend more of our future vacations in this place!

Why do I, for 10 years already, stay at this property owned by Mrs Zlovic in Valdarke, near Mali Losinj.
The apartment is located exactly halfway between Mali and Veli Losinj, in a pine wood just 10 m from the sea. Its biggest advantages (apart from the wood and the sea) are a big terrace on which one can spend a better part of the day (and night) while in the house I have all the comfort needed - well equipped kitchen, bathroom, big living room and 2 nice size bedrooms. By the sea, just beneath the house is a wonderful walkway which leads from Mali to Veli Losinj and is ideal for walks, running, cycling and has a beautiful view towards the open sea and islands Rab and Cres, as well as mount Velebit in the distance. For those more adventurous and sporty on the back side of the house there is a climbing/hiking path which goes up to St.Ivan's peak (300 m high) which has a wonderful 360 degrees view. From the peak one can go down to the south side of the island populated with lovely secluded bays. The shops in Mali and Veli Losinj are well stocked, especially in Mali Losinj which is the biggest town on all Croatian islands, although I still prefer Veli Losinj which has a local rustic feel to it - and has kept its 19th century fishermen and sailors' village look, with some fine seafood restaurants especially on the coastline of the fisherman area in Rovenska village. The area around this rental offers a variety of natural and cultural amenities which is for me ideal for a great vacation.
