A family holiday included grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles and babies. The house accommodated us excellently. The owner was very pleasant and helpful (even when we forgot the keys one day).
It's slightly more rural than imagined, but the kids lived the animals and the local village pub was very friendly too.
Would definately return.

our family adults children and ozzy the dog had a wonderful week at pen-y-coed. The property is set down its own lane and is semi remote for a quite holiday the interior of the property is light and airy with lots of space the layout is great for two family's as they can enjoy their own space at each side of the cottage the facilities were great with plenty of everything to make your holiday relaxed, the land surrounding the cottage is private and well away from the road making it safe for children to play. There are beautiful beaches a couple of miles away which are a must and a little further around the coast you will find many beautiful places to visit. The owners were there if you needed them but did not interfere at all with your holiday. The welcome pack was a very nice touch and enjoyed by all. a lovely property.
Lovely peaceful cottage

The cottage was lovely. Peaceful and secluded, plenty of space for our 2 dogs and us. I arrived at midnight, the owners had left lights on to welcome me. Nice to have a welcome pack too. Access to the coastal path was a little awkward as no direct access from the road near the cottage (unless you can climb a few fences!).
Service was good, efficient and helpful.
Beaches are fantastic - all along the west side of the coast. Good walking - beware the flies in Newborough Forest - take good insect repellant!
Very comfortable, in the middle of no where - brilliant

On arrival there was a welcome pack which was a nice surprise. The cottage was very comfortable and very clean. The property was situated down a long driveway rom a busy main road, through a couple of gates, and was stood entirely on its own. Only sheep for company and the odd fox. Lots of local wildlife to see and lots of walks to choose from, either through the forest or through the sand dunes down to the beach (saw a barn owl hunting one evening). Local pub in the village very friendly and good food. We thought the cottage was good value. The two gates to get to the main road was a nuisance at first but in fact we got used to it by the end of the week. Fantastic area for dog walking - as long as you keep the dog on a lead because of the sheep.

The cottage is lovely, very comfortable and very well equipped although another sofa in the main lounge would not go amiss, as we were a party of 8 several people had to sit on the floor as there are only 2 sofa's in the main lounge.
The cottage is a little bit isolated, quite a distance even to the pub for a meal, not a problem if you don't want to venture out for meals in the evening.
WORTH EVERY PENNY

This is a superbly equipped farmhouse cottage in a lovely location, Dont expect great nightlife nearby, but the isolated beaches, birdlife, prehistoric remains etc. are there in abundance.
