MontrealSo sweet and beautiful !

We spent two weeks in Garden studio #2 from february 23 until March 9. Its location is ideal. Located in Malmok you are close to the California Lighthouse, the Tierra Del Sol Golf course, and routes to Palm Beach south and east. The Island is full of sites and things to discover.
The owners are always there to help and assist us and the staff are so polite and effective. I recommend the place without hesitation and would go back anytime. Not to forget the nice pool and jacuzzi and if you want beaches you have plenty to choose from and among them one the 10 best beach in the world, Eagle beach !!! -

We were fortunate to have spent Christmas at the Sunset Beach Studios and could not have asked for a better place. If you like low key, private and affordable lodgings, this is the place. Keep in mind it is more like staying at a 1950-60's retreat bungaloe than the new "All Inclusive" resorts but that is what is great about it. There are only 13 units and some are small but they have what you need. Kitchens, Bathrooms, and Beds. Very nice owners that are there but leave you alone. A nice small pool to cool off in and a nice wirlpool to relax in. We bought groceries close by and made breakfast and packed lunches for our days discovering the island. You will need a car if you plan to go places. There is a bus stop right in front of the place but the sun is very hot to be standing around waiting for buses. Get the car and go out live like a local. Bon Bini!

Batesville, ArkansasA Perfect Vacation
Left on 08/03/2012 for a stay in July 2012
My husband found Sunset Beach Studios by accident on aruba Rentals. After I looked at the pictures and description, I couldn’t look at any other place. We had planned to spend our 25th anniversary in aruba.
Sunset Beach Studios is perfect. If you are looking to be spoiled by a resort, this is not the place for you. However, if you are looking for a relaxing apartment close to everything and a friendly staff, this is your place. The staff treats you like family – always smiling and helpful. They even printed our return boarding passes for us.
Our studio was Ocean View 1. It was small (perfect for 2 adults) and comfy. The bed was actually 2 twins pushed together, but the frame was an interesting South american solid wood frame – very comfortable. The studio is clean and airy; it is cleaned everyday and you can get clean towels if you want or keep the same ones for several days.
The grounds are neat and homey. The pool is clean; the hot tub is clean; there are 2 outdoor grills for cooking your own meals at the studio. We had a full sized refrigerator in our room. Our studio looked out onto the ocean, so I enjoyed my morning coffee and evening drink on the porch watching the catamarans sail by. The beach is not a sandy beach, but we snorkeled out to the shipwreck that sits about 100 yards out; you’ll need some sort of water shoe to swim here. It was exciting snorkeling in “my” front yard. Malmok Beach is a short walk down the coast – a walk along the ocean. This was the best place for snorkeling and it was within walking distance from our room. It offers a small sandy beach and easy access to the water.
We rented a Jeep and drove ourselves everywhere easily. I definitely recommend spending extra on a 4-wheel drive so you can see all the sites that the island offers.
I could go on and on. I loved Sunset Beach Studio and hope to visit again someday!
Ps The cats visit daily. If you like animals, buy some cat treats for the morning and evening visits. -

Parish, NYOur aruba anniversary trip
Left on 06/07/2012 for a stay in May 2012
My husband & I just spent our 11th anniversary at the Sunset Beach Studios. We have been to aruba before. We wanted to find a place that was a little more personal. We booked & stayed in the large ocean view villa. It was absolutely fantastic! We spent every morning, eating bagels & drinking coffee, while watching the boats sail by. We took the jeep to the other side of the island almost everyday to explore. When we returned to the villa ( we rushed home, before the sun went down) we would throw something on the bbq & hurry back to our beautiful lanai, crack the bottle of wine & watch the sun set. Every day was just as wonderful as the day before. We love the Sunset Beach Studio's. After our 5 days in the studio, we then moved to the Holiday Inn for the second half of our trip. It was very busy, it was still nice, but not the same. We spent 3 times the money on food. After 2 days at the Holiday Inn (ocean front), all we wanted to do, was to return to our lanai, at our studio. I would recommend this vacation spot to anyone. In fact, I have been talking about it since we returned home. Also, we loved to pack our lunch & sit on a secluded beach on the other side of the island. It was to hot to keep food in the jeep, so the the Studio office let us take their cooler for the entire stay. We love that place. Not sure if I've said that yet... Can't wait to go back!

West Hatfield, MassachusettsA great place to relax in aruba
Left on 04/20/2012 for a stay in April 2012
Sunset Beach Studios is a terrific place to relax in and amongst the hub-bub of the aruba Gold Coast. The vibe of the property, its owners and staff are just what the Doctor ordered. Equidistant to the quiet beaches of Malmok and bright lights of the High-Rise Hotel district, the Studios offer the opportunity to chill out, enjoy the sunset, yet be at any number of great restaurants within minutes. Enjoy, we did.

Left on 04/17/2012 for a stay in March 2012
I thoroughly loved this spot. I whisked a girl down to aruba for our last weekend together before I moved west and this was the perfect place... Great location, just a few minutes from some beautiful beaches, close to the high and low rise hotel areas for when you want to go, but secluded enough that you dont feel in the middle of all the tourist stuff. The staff was amazingly friendly and all the other guests were great. Small, so you can actually meet some other people which is so nice. Rooms were clean, with plenty of room, and inviting.
Our flight got cancelled on the way down and the staff at sunset beach studios took care of us, dealt with changing my car reservation (which they were happy to make in the first place as well!) and luckily found a way for us to stay an extra night in the same room even though they were totally booked - and waived our fee for missing our first night!
All in all it was an amazing part of our perfect vacation. Definitely check this place out.

My husband and I stayed at this villa in February for 4 glorious days. We were pleasantly surprised with the size of our unit. We stayed in the Garden 1 which offered king size bed, nice kitchenette, huge walk in closet, sitting area and large bathroom. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained and most of the guests we met were repeat visitors. The owners are wonderful and make you fell welcome. This villa is in a great location, minutes away from the north end of the island for beautiful beaches and spectacular snorkelling. It is also minutes from the high rise tourist area boasting restaurants, shops and more beaches. We will return to aruba and have already recommended this villa to our friends who plan to visit later this year. Thanks JP and Eve for making our first trip to aruba unforgettable!

My wife and I stayed at the aruba Sunset Beach (Large Garden Unit 1) and loved the location, the well maintained grounds and amenities. This location offers a pool, jacuzzi, outdoor sitting area, bbq, laundry and ample beach towels. Jp and Eve were extremely accommodating and helped us have one of the best vacations we have ever had. They arranged for us to stay at their large villa in Calbas for a few days until we could occupy one of the units at aruba Sunset Beach. The grounds are lovely and many of the tenants continue to return yearly to this location. We will definitely return and recommend this property to our friends and family.

We stayed there in august 2011 and we were definitely satisfied about the choice: the studio n.2 we stayed in was very clean and well maintained. The kitchen is well equipped. The listing description is accurate regarding the location and the listing photos accurately reflect the rental's appearance and amenities. The owner provide good customer service and the booking process was ok. It is true that the owner is not always there, but if you need something you can ask to the maid and she will call the owner by phone and fix it for you. We rented a car in aruba so it was easier to go around the island. The location was perfect for us: quiet place where we could relax and watch the wonderful view and sunsets! We definitely recommend it!

We stayed 10 nights in the garden studio #2. It was clean and quiet. Eve and J.P. were most helpful about what to see and do in aruba. How to get there, as we took the bus downtown. The studio had a big fridge, a two burner hot plate, table ware and dishes. The bed was two singles pushed together and was fine and firm. A little old but we did not pay for a Westin heavenly bed remember. The bathroom was very small and water pressure was low. This could be because we were an end unit. The water was drinkable and good. We had a patio with a table. Ask for a map of the place to check other units. All in all we would stay here again gladly. The price was great!!
The big plus here was location. The snorkel spots were a mile up the road. No need for a cruise as they go there. We rented a car but the bus goes right by the place and is the way to go if going downtown. If going to Palm or Eagle beaches, park across from the butterfly farm at the Signature Park and walk 100 feet to crowded beaches. Arashi is just as nice and not crowded. -

I booked one of the Garden Studios for my august holiday, this being my first time to aruba. Before arriving, I was given an upgrade to one of the Large Garden Studios (with an ocean view from the porch).
Everything about the studios is great! The staff are all very friendly, and attentive. I never wanted for anything! If I had any questions (and I had many, being a solo first timer), I was provided answers and recommendations... From which grocery store to go to, to how to hail the bus, to which tours to go on.
I gave 4 stars for the location because I do not drive, and Malmok Beach (where Sunset Studios is located) is about a 15-20 minute walk to the beginning of the low-rise hotel area. Other properties flank the Studios and the beach right outside the studios is rocky, and not pleasant for bare feet. That said, there are phenomenal beaches a short ways away, either by walking or car (Arashi, and the hotel area). Most people drive, so this won't be an issue for you. I felt very safe walking around, both outside of and inside of the studio area. It's very quiet there, truly restful. The wind in the palm trees was a constant (and welcome during the hot days in the sun).
Having a pool and jacuzzi right on the property was also great for convenience!
I felt so happy and at ease there, it was such a wonderful experience ... I would definitely go back! -

I came to aruba for the wedding of my son Sander. The last couple of years he and his girlfrind Joyce (since July 27th 2011 his wife),are regular guests at aruba Sunset Beach Studios. They love to wind- and kitesurf and the villas are very close to the beach where it is all happening.
Because Sander and Joyce like this place so much, they've asked me and other family members to come over for the wedding and join them for a vacation at this fantastic place. The wedding and the vacation have been great. I want to compliment JP and Eef, the owners of the villas, for their hospitality. My unit was very well equipped and clean. Every evening, as we came back from dinner, we relaxed with a drink under the Palapa, next to the Jacuzzi and swimming pool.
