The owner used our pet deposit to buy new furniture for her condo.
We had to track the owner down several months after we rented the place to ask why we hadn't been refunded the deposit. She made up some story about damages that must have been caused by our dog. She never verified when they were discovered or proved that it was us. Then she bought brand new beds to replace the old ones that were "damaged", all paid for with our deposit.
Complete disregard for the law. She will take advantage of you too.
Plus, the unit and whole complex is crappy.

Owner
We love the opportunity to offer a pet friendly condo to our guests and unfortunately, we sometimes have renters whose pets damage our property. In this case, the damage was severe and for the benefit of all future guests, the furniture affected had to be replaced. We pride ourselves in maintaining our condo at high standards. It is unfortunate when we have a situation like this and this does not happen often, but it was necessary to maintain a high quality rental.

Torrance, CAGreat place for relaxing with the pets
Left on 05/08/2012 for a stay in October 2011
We have rented the Sunshine Village 1 bederoom and loft two times now and have loved every day of it. The kitchen is great for cooking and has been remodeled. The fireplace is stocked and ready for use. The furniture is cozy and makes you feel like home right sway. The only trouble I had was the first night, when I left the fire on too long and the loft area was too warm for sleeping. The location is convenient to stores and to restaurants and the stop for skiing.
This is our go to place in Mammoth. -

Los AngelesCute condo, great for pets and kids!
Left on 05/01/2012 for a stay in November 2010
We stayed in Sunshine #120 over Thanksgiving and had a great time. We have 2 young children and 1 small dog and the condo was the perfect size for us. The kids loved the loft and the living area was perfect, not too big and not too small. The location was extremely convenient, it allowed us quick trips by either car or walking to the Vons shopping center and rental stores. The kitchen was well enough equipped for me to make a nice thanksgiving meal. Bringing our dog was also a great convenience. And even though this is a "pet friendly" condo, the condo was kept in great condition. At the end of our stay, the snow was so good, we decided to extend one more day and the owners were easy to get in contact with and had no problem helping us extend for one more night.
I only gave it 4 stars because the staff at the main office were not the friendliest or helpful when we needed something, and the toilet either had a problem before we got there or developed one, where it was "running" all the time. Not huge deal breakers, but notceable nontheless. -

Left on 04/24/2012 for a stay in September 2011
Our family of 6 (4 generations) stayed here in late September and absolutely loved this condo. It was very clean and comfortable, with homey decor and updated kitchen. Our two little kids loved the loft and our grandma wanted to move in! We were so happy that everyone got to sleep in their own beds at such an affordable rate. We only stayed for two nights, but all of us would have loved to stay longer and enjoyed the other amenities at the complex. Location was great, with restaurants and shops just a super quick drive away (or long walk). Being non-mountain folk, it was extra special to have firewood included to enjoy the fireplace. We absolutely no issues here and hope to make it back to this accommodating condo!

This place was a great find. Cozy and comfortable, it seemed like a real home as opposed to a hotel room. It was close to everything and if you didn't feel like driving, you could take the free shuttle which stops right in front of the property.

We really enjoyed your condo! It felt very comfortable and we loved the soft cushy towels and nice linens (it made it feel more homey, less motel-ey). The location is perfect. We really enjoy walking down to Roberto's for Mexican food and margaritas! And the shuttle location is ideal!
The only downside was the light/fan in the bathroom, it is really loud and rattly for the person sleeping in the loft. Every time it was turned on, it woke them up! And it could use a coffee table. :) -

This was the second time we stayed at Monica and Marco's Sunshine Village condo and, if we get the chance to come back to Mammoth again, we'll definately seek to stay there again. The condo is spacious and well-maintained with a real "California mountain" charm. Plus the service from Monica is great too, as she provided all kinds of extra info about getting to Mammoth and surrounding amenities and activities, all of which we're very helpful. Highly recommended - just don't book at th eend of April because we'll want to be back there! :)

overall a great experience. Monica was easy to get in touch with and the complex is easy to find. The actual condo is quaint and cozy, definitely cared for by the owners as their own getaway. Great little spot for two couples or 4 singles. comfortable beds, especially in the master. The living room setup isnt the best for watching tv, and the tv could definitely be bigger, but all in all a great little spot for a great price.
cheers

This was one of our best condo rentals in all of the times we have gone to Mammoth. I really liked the updated kitchen and all of the little decorations that make it feel like a cabin. Very cool!
We had such a great time up in Mammoth this Holiday season. I loved how the whole town glittered. I do wish there was more snow, but we had a great time.
The owners were very nice and helped us even when we had a last minute change in plans. We will definitely use them again. -

We loved this condo. It was newly updated with top of the line improvements. Kitchen has everything needed for meals. Location was close to town. The info stated that a tennis court was on the premisis. We never found it. Location was close to town and ski lodge is directly across the street. We would rent this location again.

Temecula, CaCondo that makes you feel right at home
Left on 08/13/2009 for a stay in August 2009
We really did enjoy our stay at the condo in Mammoth. The condo was well equipped and we felt right at home. Our kids enjoyed the pool and game room. The only complaint we did have was that the jacuzzi was to hot and not that relaxing to get in and wind down after a day filled with hiking and sightseeing. The location was great. Within walking distance to shops and resturaunts.
We would recommend this condo to friends that would like to go to Mammoth and would stay here again if we ever go back to Mammoth. -

Left on 07/24/2009 for a stay in July 2009
We stayed in the sunshine village condo for four nights during the Mammoth
Lakes Jazz Jubilee in July 2009. The condo was very clean and homey with a
"ski lodge" theme. It had a lot of character. My 6 yr old son loved sleeping in
the loft! It was in a great location, within walking distance to most of the
venues during the jazz festival. We have fun swimming in the pool and
lounging in the jacuzzi.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we highly recommend the place! -

This was a wonderful place to stay (for the 3rd time). Not only was it decorated very cute, it was also extremely clean, and a great value. The location was also convenient to town, but not so close to the road to be noisy. The only thing I would like would be a coffe table to play games on.

El Dorado Hills, CACozy Mountain Condo
Left on 06/15/2009 for a stay in April 2009
We stayed here for 4 trips and 17 nights in 2009 . This is a well kept place in great condition for the price. The complex is a great value, but if you demand perfection in service, plan on spending about twice as much.
The location is excellent with a shuttle stop across the street that takes you to Eagle lodge. You're also walking distance to town or the park if you have kids.
Like most of the condos built at this time, if you arrive late at night in the winter, plan on lighting fire right away to heat the place up -- it's cold until the wall heaters can catch up.
The complex also has a game room and pool/hot-tub. About a third of the nights we were there, the hot tub heater was having issues and was not hot.
The unit has a comfy bed, two TV's, a great loft for the kids, and a nice kitchen. We'll be back, so just don't book it the weekends that my family wants to go :)
