My family and I have been visiting Mammoth for more than 20 years now. This was, hands down, one of the best stays we have ever had. The condo is furnished perfectly, the beds are comfy, and my guys simply loved the TVs in the bedrooms and the living room. The kitchen is stocked perfectly, (including a slow cooker!), ...everything we needed...and more. The condo was easy to locate, with easily accessible parking. Just close enough to town, but not too close. Julie is an incredible hostess, and was just so easy to communicate with. Thanks again, Julie. We will be back soon!!

Redondovery attractive, comfortable, newly renovated condo

even the blow up matress for the couch was really comfy. we have stayed here twice and will try to again on our next Mammoth trip. even though its an uphill walk to Canyon lodge I did it in my ski boots without too much problem. love the fact that its one of the first bus stops to get to the mountain so the bus is empty and one of the first stops coming home so you dont have to ride too long on a stinky crowded bus at the end of a long ski day.

Mountainback Unit 18 was a fantastic rental and weekend for us! Traveled with husband and 2 children under the age of 10 and everyone had a great stay! Accommodations were above and beyond what we've had at other rentals. Comfortable beds, flat screen t.v.'s, free wi-fi, use of washer and dryer, and heated bathroom floors!
Location is ideal as it is just down the road from Canyon Lodge and minutes from other Mammoth attractions. Covered parking was a plus.

We took our young children skiing for the first time and needed a 2 BR place to stay. This condo had everything we needed ...
Covered parking with assigned spots
Easy access to the unit
Fully furnished kitchen (with more appliances and cooking equipment than at my own home)
Great bunk beds for the kids
Fantastic Master Suite with comfortable king bed
Never heard a sound from anyone in other units
The Shuttle stop is right outside the unit with quick access to the Main Lodge and Canyon Lodge
We hope that the unit will be available next year when we go back. -

This was the most accommodating trouble free stay I have had in 30 years of skiing. Everything was as advertised, absolutely clean and fully supplied. The TVs were large screen, and we even had throws on the couches to use with a great fireplace and plenty of wood.
At check the people were friendly, extremely helpful, and a great source of information.
I particularly liked that there humidifiers in each room so my skin felt great.
The owner sent info on discounts, good dining and a lot of other stuff.
This place was recently updated and if clearly the finest Mountainback place. It is quiet and great for families, with undercover parking.
It is surely my first preference as a place to stay in Mammoth.

I wish I found this place years ago - to think of the places we had been staying in before this. But now we know, right?
Great furniture, nice TVs, a well-equipped kitchen. All great. Better than other places.
But the two best parts: location and the owner.
Location: easy access to the bus line or a moderate walk into the village. You don't really need to move your car ever while you're there. That's huge - I hate putting all the stuff in the car to get up to the lodge.
Owners: they were just easy and nice, and got back to me fast when I had questions about the place before we made the reservation. And everything they promised was there.
This is the place for my family. And the price is right!
