Brea, CaliforniaPerfect spot for stay in Eastern Sierras
Left on 06/12/2013 for a stay in June 2013
Once again our stay at the Snowcreek Resort was terrific. Staff was professional and efficient. First stay in #429. Condo was clean and spacious. Parking was 20 feet from front door. Would highly recommend 429. Crowds haven't shown up yet. Kids are still in school. Early June is a great time to see all the sites in the Eastern Sierras.

Irvine, CAGreat Value in Spring
Left on 04/11/2013 for a stay in March 2013
This condo, and many similar ones in this phase of Snowcreek, is a great value during midweek in Spring. The unit is adequate if outdated in some ways like furniture, carpeting, cooking utensils. Really though, it is totally adequate when you are in and out for meals and sleeping during a ski trip. If it is luxury you are looking for, this is not the place. If you are on a budget and just needing a decent place with good amenities (healthclub, outdoor hot tubs) then this is great. That said, it is expensive for what you get when you pay full price.

Snow Creek Resort staff were absolutely wonderful. They were helpful with there knowledge of the Mammoth Lakes area and always provided 5 star service. The accommodations were comfortable and the setting was magnificent. Congratulations to the staff and management for helping give my family a memorable snow holiday. We will see you in the spring!

Los AngelesOk, but needs some maintaining
Left on 01/16/2013 for a stay in December 2012
We made late reservations for Xmas break in 2012 and this was the last available unit. It seemed like this unit hadn't been maintained for a while. The hot water wasn't working, there was mold in the coffee maker, there were shoe prints on the pillow case (??). The maintenance person at Snowcreek was good at coming in the evening to fix these things, but it made for a stressful first few hours. The unit has dim lights, and little natural sunlight, so if you want to read bring a flashlight. The kitchen appliances are old, which made cooking difficult (they either don't get hot enough, or they burn food), and there is nothing in the pantry, not even salt, so bring everything you need with you. There is a good selection of pots and pans, however, and a slow cooker that will save you. We had trouble keeping a fire going, and the heat wouldn't go higher than 70. If you tend to be cold, ask for a space heater. The furnishings are adequate, and the owner provides games. The unit opens up to a courtyard which is good play room for kids. Overall, not bad, but I'd probably look around more next time.

My family and I have been staying at Snowcreek almost exclusively for the last 25 years. Love the complex and the people that work there. They were out of the one bedroom condo that we were looking for so they up-graded us to a beautiful 2 bedroom. Wow!!! And thank you! We will continue using Snowcreek in the future. No complaints here!
Thank you again for for this trip and the many we've enjoyed in the past.

arcadia, californiacondo #429 assessment
Left on 08/21/2011 for a stay in October 2010
service by snowcreek personnel was prompt and courteous. condo location was ideal for our use. on check-in only one-way light bulbs in living room, carpet was not clean (toys, among other things, were found under couch), and couch and living room chair appeared soiled. kitchen utinsels were fine except the coffee maker is old and needs to be replaced, and there was no ice cream scooper. the washer/dryer met our needs and did a good job . the bedspread is tacky and a new one would a great improvement (ditto for the blinds and drapes), and some new paint would make the unit sparkle.
notwithstanding the foregoing, the location is great, and the proximity to fishing (mammoth creek) and walking the valentine trail and the trail along mammoth creek is right up our alley. -

We enjoyed out rime at Snowcreek; especially the location on the meadow and the well maintained grounds. Everything was clean and tidy.
