      Truly Home away from Home

Left on 04/04/2013 for a stay in March 2013

We stayed here with another couple after I caught the ski bug earlier in the year. We were so very please with this lovely loft.

Someone obviously designed the place very thoughtfully - even the dining table must have been custom made to fit the space and match the decor. The plates and glassware were new and beautiful - not hodgepodge mix-and-match types that you normally find in vacation cabins. The warm decor really made it feel a good cozy (not crammed or tiny) and homey. It was the perfect ski condo/loft.

It was easy to treat the loft like "our" home, because it felt like it. In fact, when I was getting a parking tag, I saw that the loft was booked right after us, and my friend and I were joking about feeling possessive - "What? They can't stay here after us! This is our little ski lodge! They can't come into our home!"

The pictures absolutely accurately reflect the space. My friend and I felt it actually looked larger than the pictures in some regards. There was a full downstairs bath and mudroom type area that weren't even pictured here. The two full sized baths made it great for two couples to share the space comfortably.

My friend and her fiance stayed on the pull out couch and found it to be very comfortable. They said it was like a memory foam kind of mattress. The only thing missing was legitimate bed pillows.

We could not figure out the fireplace for the life of us, despite the detailed instructions. The place still got piping hot though, easily.

The place is older, built in the 70s, I believe. The walls are thin and noise is an issue for the downstairs condo - we know since we had a very dramatic complainer underneath us, upset that she could hear our toilets flushing, even.

Overall, we would come hear again and again. We really loved it, and we would be interested to meet the owners. They have excellent tastes!

      Had a great stay!

Left on 02/05/2013 for a stay in January 2013

This is a very nice condo, everything is upgraded. We stayed during MLK weekend and the whole town was packed, and was so much fun. The Condo is very close to the green line(half block walk at most) so you don't have to drive to the lifts. Its also walking distance to all kinds of bars and restaurants on Old Mammoth road, meaning that you can have a good time and not worry of having to drive.
The TV and sound system was very nice, and the kitchen had everything we needed. You really don't have to worry about forgetting anything. The Bed was very comfortable and the hot water was plenty full and quick to come. There is one heater by the front door, and this may take a bit to heat the entire place so you can get the fire going but be careful you may just get it too hot in there.
We were totally happy, except for two things: The people downstairs cooked, they used a lot of garlic and spices and for some reason that smell found its way up. Not sure what can be done about this, but I am assuming the vents aren't great and push the smell of food up to the above condo. One more thing I would honestly like to mention is about the Wireless internet, It was so slow it was almost useless. If your advertising it for your renters, please provide a usable speed...

I would definitely stay here again!

      Amazing weekend in the snow:)

Left on 01/24/2013 for a stay in January 2013

The condo was amazing. So comfy and cozy. The pictures are exactly to what it is, on other words, no photo shop here. Fully stocked kitchen made it easy to enjoy nights in and right on the bus line made it a quick ride to the mountain. The actual appt building was a bit deceiving when we were unlocking the door. The hallway was unkep with old carpet but when my boyfriend and I walked into the condo, it was like stepping into another building. Bed was comfy, place was clean and so well decorated. All high tech electronics, even had little shampoo and conditioners. Would love to stay at this condo again with some friends. It's perfect size for 2 or 4 guests.

      We liked this condo

Left on 01/17/2013 for a stay in December 2012

We stayed here during the holiday season, almost everything was sold out in Mammoth at that time, and this condo cost was one of the cheapest available options (half price of other options). It still was too expensive, but everything is expensive in Mammoth. The condo itself was great, nice, clean, warm and in a really convenient location.

      Nice Stay

Condo was great. The spas were a little suspect but glad they had three available (a different one was working better than the others each night.) All in all, we were happy!

      Great Experience

Left on 03/22/2012 for a stay in March 2012

had a great experience. Only annoyance was being asked to sign some papers at the rental office, walking there, then being told I could have just signed them when I checked out. It was a lot of hassle for nothing.

I was just writing a friend and telling her how beautiful our condo was and what a wonderful vacation we had. The weather was great and we loved our picnic by Lake George. The furnishings in G9 were gorgeous and the bed was so comfortable. I hope it's available next summer.
