We had a great three-night stay at VDI 32. It was roomy and comfortable, with a smallish but updated kitchen and appliances. When we had trouble with the fireplace, someone came right away and fixed it. The best part about the condo was its convenient location right across the street from the gondola. But for the lack of snow, it was a perfect mini-vacation spot.

Response to a concern was quick and professional. The home took some getting used to since most of the counters were very high. Must be made for very tall people. The location was so convenient and close to all the activities that we were there for. We were very disappointed that the balcony was small and unusable because there was so much firewood and the view was obstructed. We liked the rustic feel and the location was reasonably quiet. The place was a little dusty and it didn't feel and look very clean.

A special thank you goes out to Cole from MRB for his assistance with an issue toward the end of our trip. He was very helpful and professional in helping us. He valued our input and was responsive. Great customer service!!
We had a great time and found this condo to meet our needs very well. The location is perfect...walking distance to the Village and right off the "Downtown and Uptown" bike trail. We will be back!!!
Close to the Village

For a rental this condo is nicer than the usual. The living area had a very comfortable sectional couch and 2 extremely comfortable barcaloungers which believe me are wonderful after a day of skiing! The kitchen was a little cramped and not the best lighting for the sink but the appliances were good quality. The bedrooms are nicely appointed and very comfortable beds, not too soft, not too hard. A little too noisy from the upstairs guests walking around but very quiet in the downstairs bedrooms. Great location, a short walk to the Village and Gondola.

Disappointed in our condos.

Check in went very well but our condos turned out to be smaller than we thought and were not very well equipped. One condo only had 3 cereal bowels and was housing 6 adults. When we requested a roll away bed for one condo housekeeping delivered two beds and no sheets. We requested toiletries normally furnished for the bathrooms such as shampoo, bar soap and hand lotion. Our condo was delivered one of each and was housing 6. We were there for 5 nights and had enough dishwasher soap for 3 loads.
One shower quit working and the plummer that came to fix it could not. So 6 people had to use one shower. Thais was very inconvenient.
Overall the units were not very furnished and were not in good condition. We were short of towels too. Housekeeping did not seem to know what they were doing or how to correct any requests. They did leave some more towels all at one condo.

This is a 3-bedroom condo across from the Village. It's quite an old condo and has not been renovated, but it's decently furnishes and quite adequate for a skiing holiday. If you are looking for luxury though, this is not it. I would say it's on a par with most Mammoth condos, and I would stay here again. The location is super convenient; a short walk to the Village and gondola. It is too far to walk in skis though; we drove to Canyon Lodge and hired a ski locker, so that we could walk to and from the Gondola each day in snow boots, without our skis. Not a problem for the boarders in our group! Also, we could not walk across the bridge to the village: access from the condo was blocked by a snow bank, so we had to go across the road. The condo has all you need in terms of bedding and kitchen supplies, etc. It is a bit old and noisy though...you can hear everyone walking around upstairs, and the upstairs bedroom has a water geyser in it, so that was very noisy for the couple in that bedroom. Response from Mammoth Reservation Bureau - 01/15/2013
Thank you so much for your review and sorry to hear that your access to the Village bridge was blocked by snow (they are reporting the 2nd snowiest December in history for Mammoth!) We'll certainly recommend to the homeowners that they update some things. Thank you again and we'll hope to see you in Mammoth next time!

This is approximately the 5th or 6th time I've used Mammoth Reservation Bureau. Always, the personnel are friendly, courteous and efficient. I do like unit 32 at Val D'Isere. The size is fine and the location is excellent as my family likes to walk over the bridge to the village. It is excellently equiped, meaning we could find all we needed and quickly. Even a cheese shredder. My wife thinks the unit wasn't as clean as in the past. On our second day, she had to wipe the kitchen floor to clean up a liquid and the paper towel was black. Read more

Thank you so much for the kind words and for being such a loyal customer! We are checking with housekeeping to see why the kitchen floor was so dirty. Thank you again and we hope to see you next year!

Condo was no where near clean to anyone's standards...Windows,blinds,floors were all needing a good scrubbing...
M.R.B. was contacted by myself and spoke with Cole, I explained my disappointment on appearance of condo...Cole promptly visited the site and called house cleaning, that action alone will make next year a must return!!! Thank You Cole for taking care of business promptly... See you next year!!!

We really enjoyed the rental in Mammoth. I liked that the fact that the unit is updated with newer amenities. The reason I would give it a 4 instead of a 5 is for a few reasons. First, the lighting in the kitchen is so dim. It makes preparing meals difficult to see. It seems as if they are trying to match the lighting in the dining room. I believe they would benefit from having more light in the kitchen. Second, the bathroom and kitchen rugs were so dirty. I actually put the bathroom rug in the washer because it really grossed me out. Lastly, the complex was having the asphalt redone in the parking lot during our stay. We were not given any notification but instead got a knock at door to let us know we needed to move our car. Some advance notification would have been helpful. I would recommend it to a friend in fact, I would stay there again.

Good location near Village in walking distance of Village. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, excellent showers, nice living room and dining area. Bedrooms small - no closet or shelf space in master bedroom though ample hooks and luggage caddies. People in downstairs bedroom complained that floor boards creak so they heard every step taken above. Wi-Fi available but secured network could not be found so could only connect without security.

We appreciated the location being so close to the Village. The condo was nicely furnished and combined living/kitchen area was roomy. The beds were comfortable. We cooked a couple meals and the kitchen was well furnished. If I had one wish, it would be that the swimming pool was warmer.
