On a budget? This is your place

Left on 03/26/2013 for a stay in March 2013

There were 4 girls and we all were so comfortable, we loved it. This place had everything, just like home. The bed was so comfortable and the heaters and fireplace worked very fast. Great view from the balcony and less than 5 min drive to Eagle Lodge. All things I loved; Jacuzzi, heaters, fireplace, Tv's, kitchen microwave, location, it just felt so comfortable. I definitely plan to return. Highly recommended especially if your counting your pennies. I even loved the 1980's feel with all the upgrades. Don't forget to sign there guest book too.

      Convenient location, well-equipped

Left on 02/19/2013 for a stay in February 2013

This condo is conveniently located at the corner of Old Mammoth Road and Meridian-walking distance to Minaret Village and right on the red line that takes you to the Village. You can walk to Vons for groceries, walk to restaurants and grab the bus to the gondola without schlepping your equipment for blocks. A family of four is accommodated perfectly with the parents having a separate bedroom and the kids sleeping on beds disguised as couches during the day. The master also has a separate sink and vanity. Kitchen was very well-equipped and heaters worked great. Because it was winter we heard no traffic noise but in the summer it might be a different situation. Complex has ample parking and sidewalks were cleared of ice. We didn't use the jacuzzi, tennis courts or onsite recreation room so can't comment on their condition. If you are looking for a comfortable, reasonably priced place with a cabin-style decor and a good location, this is it.

Comfortable and relaxing condo which we would use again.

Left on 08/02/2012 for a stay in July 2012

Mammoth Reservation Bureau always goes out of their way to be sure everything is as it should be. The condo was ready early so we were able to check in and get settled. It was decorated very professionally and had everything necessary in the kitchen, lacking only an iron for my wrinkled clothes. (None of the condos we've rented here have an iron so I bring a travel one.) The bed is comfortable and having a sink in the bedroom is very handy. The location is great---Von's, restaurants, fast food, trolley stop and Jazz venue within easy walking distance. My husband likes location because he is a fly fisherman and streams/lakes are close.

      Satisfying

Left on 03/27/2012 for a stay in March 2012

The condo is very well maintained and bright. We like to be centrally located so that we are able to walk to restaurants.

We did not have hot water one morning and the maintenance came very quickly to correct the problem. However he told us that he would leave the cover off, where the reset button is located. We had to reset the button three times. Also,I think that there is air in the hot water pipe in wash hand basin in the bedroom. When you turn off the hot water faucet in the bedroom it makes a terrible thump. I reported thjid when we checked out.

      Great Time, Great Space

Left on 01/17/2012 for a stay in January 2012

I was here with a group of friends and we all enjoyed our stay very much. The space had everything you needed to cook, prepare and eat our food. We had plenty of space in the cozy main room playing games, watching movies and TV. The places warms up very easily with the fire going or the heaters. The location is in a nice area, even though it is not right next to any of the lodges you can take either the green or red line shuttle service for free. The green one was what we took and it took five minutes. Both pick you up right outside.

My friends and I would most certainly stay here again. Price is right and location is great too.

Good stay 1st week in Jan of 2012

Left on 01/10/2012 for a stay in January 2012

We had a wonderful time in this unit. Very comfortable unit. Likes: the decor, fully equip the kitchen, a lot of blankets, and many fun board games. Also it is close to Vons supermarket.

Major problem: the vent fan and light above the stove did not work.

      Fall Botanical Expedition

Left on 09/22/2011 for a stay in September 2011

We used it as a base station for a Fall botanical expedition to Long Valley and Mono Lake. The rental was fine, definitely a better value than our friends got at Motel 6. The duck tacos at Robertos across the street were excellent.
