This is a very beautiful condominium that has just been completely remodeled with a new kitchen, bathrooms, new paint and carpet! It is a nonsmoking, 2-bedroom and a loft condominium with 2 bathrooms and a 5 star rating. It also has a spectacular mountain view from the living room and balcony. We had 4 previous trips to Mammoth and this is the first time we stayed in the Mammoth View Villas. The condo itself was OK; a good value. It's really a place if you just want to sleep, make breakfast, head to the mountains and not spend too much time hanging out. We, though, were on a family vacation and wanted to spend time together in the evenings, cooking all our meals and playing cards/games. There are better choices in Mammoth for what we were looking for.
The only two things that were less than OK was the pull out couch -- really, really uncomfortable and the hot tub in the complex -- not worth the trip.
It's close to the blue line, running every 15 minutes, that drops off at Canyon Lodge.
