Having stayed in Mammoth before we needed a unit for just three adults and two small dogs being we were up for Bodie Day. The unit was clean and useful. The master B/R is large with a soft king size bed and the loft had plenty of room. The bathroom has a door that separates the shower/toilet from the sink/mirror. The kitchen has plenty of pans and dishes. The fridge kept the beer ice cold. Had to get use to the electric stove/oven. Lots of places to hang jackets or put ski gear if we had it. It has two flights of stairs which can become a issue carrying up items and the dogs. This would also be an issue for the handicapped or older travelers as for parking that was an issue being we had a new F150 P/U and parking outside is not allowed. The garage is two cars deep but very tight. Had to have everyone get out and flip the side mirrors in in order to get the truck parked. Good thing no one was using the spot next to us. The garage is the last one and it takes some back and forth movement to get in and out. A car or small SUV would fit better. The location to the lifts would be great for skiing. The area is well lighted at night.

We wanted a rental that was close enough for the kids to walk to the slopes, had beds for everyone and was roomy enough to to gather in the evenings. This place definitely fit the bill! It was a great place to spend three nights. It has only one bathroom, so we used a shower schedule, which worked just fine.
