I believe in full transparency.
This was not a four star stay, but if you want reasonably priced accommodations, close to all the action with a property manager(MRB) that makes check in/out simple and hassle free, this is the place.
The loft was nice and the two pullouts could easily and comfortably accommodate 5-6. We had only two guys during our stay which was more than adequate for space, gear, etc.
Because we only needed one night accom's we were stuck with an additional charge for cleaning(which we had already paid in the rental price). To be clear this was not a surprise, I agree to it up front, but since the place was going to be empty for the night, a one night rental seemed reasonable(they maintain a 2 nt min). As I understand it, this is a contract issue between (MRB and the owners of these units) such that a one night rental would end up costing the owner. Anyhow, something that should be addressed to simplify and justify fees for potential renters.
Thank you for a great experience.

The condo itself had a lot of great improvements, the bathrooms were really nicely redone (for a rental) and the updated kitchen stove was a plus as well...
The furniture and layout was less than inviting and the fridge froze all of our produce during the first night of our stay, the garbage disposal broke and the cable never really worked...we were unable to watch the ball drop on NYE, or even put on a movie. The rental company 'fixed' the cable and it worked for the next 12 hours, and then we were stuck with the same station the rest of the trip...meaning we got to watch super bad back to back to back...great movie, but...
Great use of space

Our children own a Mammoth View Villa. The complex is well managed and in easy walking distance to the Village. We rented Mvv28 to be close to them and were pleasantly surprised how nice this unit was. We would rent it again. Loved having two full bathrooms and the upstairs loft was very comfortable. It was clean and well outfitted.

Mammoth Reservations Bureau always has great service friendly staff. The home is very clean, fully stocked kitchen. Location was walking distance to the village, easy access. Just overall great experience with the rental unit.
Out dated and too expensive

The down stairs: Lighting was aweful. The dining room chandalier, we never found the light switch. The tv was a dinasour and the speakers made this aweful buzzing noise. Very annoying as we watched a Christmas movie every night of our stay.
The bathrooms were so itty bitty that my fiance and I could not share one. He took the downstairs while I took the upstairs.
The stair steps to the loft were unusual in size. My size 6 foot was larger than the steps. The window coverings let in way too much light in the morning and nothing could be done about that. Walls were thin, especially when the next door renters ( a bunch of young college guys decided to have a party.)I have rented through this agency for many years and this property was definately not our favorite. It was merely adequate. This is especially true when you consider what we paid per night and we found out the much more up-to-date ski in and ski out lodge, Juniper Spring Resort, was more economic.
