Comfy and close to Mammoth Village:)

We've stayed at HV 22 three times now, and we really find it perfect for us (2 adults, and a 5 yr old). Hidden Valley Condos are also in walking distance to Mammoth's Village, which has several good restaurants, and the gondola to Canyon Lodge. We enjoy the outdoor jacuzzi, as well. Only drawbacks to this unit are that it doesn't have a dishwasher, and its a long walk up 3 flights of stairs.

Good bang for the buck in Mammoth

Left on 04/18/2012 for a stay in April 2012

It's a very basic set up. Nothing fancy. The price was OK at $125 + the $25 in taxes in fees per night. However, 3 of the 4 electric burners on the stove did not work. That was a bit of a bummer.

      Great location

We spent 4 nights at Hidden Valley. It was great. The room is very well taken care of, nice, clean, cozy and very roomy. There was a problem that the first night when we arrived there was no hot water. Overall, we enjoyed staying at Hidden Valley and will return again. The staff at Mammoth Premiere Reservations was great.

Cozy but could ammenities could use some help.

Left on 03/04/2010 for a stay in February 2010

Hidden Valley seems like it's one of the older complexes, but the cabin was nice and cozy. I loved that it has a loft as well a 2 full bathrooms. The extra mattress bad was soiled (kins of gross). The linens seemed really thin and old. Don't know if that has to do with property management or the owners take care of it. The cabin itself was fine, so if they take care of the ammenties it would be a much nicer place to stay. -

      Cozy, warm, but no internet

Left on 01/14/2010 for a stay in December 2009

Condo was 1 bedroom, 2 level, 2 bath. Pros: Cozy and spacious for 1 bedroom. It was clean and warm. Kitchen was convenient. Unit is across the street from the Village. We never had to drive to the slopes or restaurants. Cons: TV is small. No internet. When we first walked in we had to air out the condo for about an hour because the "Pet Friendly Condo" was wrecking havoc on people with allergies. Once it was aired out there were no more issues. People with allergies beware this is a Pet Friendly Condo. It is also on the top floor of the building. Walking up and down everyday was not fun.

      Not Our Usual Good Experience

Left on 07/23/2009 for a stay in July 2009

After 15 or so years of booking with Mammoth Premiere at Hidden Valley Condos, this year was a disappointment. This particular condo had several repair type issues which caused us problems. The VCR wouldn't record, a stove burner was broken, and a window screen was defective and allowed insects to enter. In addition, there was construction on the condo units adjacent, and on the upper road, causing considerable noise. This was the first year that we had problems with any condos in Hidden Valley rented from Mammoth Premiere Reservations.

      Quiet and Cozy

Left on 04/08/2009 for a stay in March 2009

First time at this condo (we have stayed at numerous other condo's in this complex) and we had a wonderful time. Very cozy and in a quiet portion of the condo complex. Nice view also. Lots of stairs leading to the front door though.

Within walking distance of the Village and many restaurants. Driveway entrance was kept clear of snow throughout each day so never a problem coming or going.

      Good value

Left on 03/18/2009 for a stay in March 2009

This place was basic and clean, and I would rent it again. I've stayed at diff. units at Hidden Valley and I chose this unit because it was cheaper than the other studio lofts with the same floor plan. The upstairs loft is closed off from the living room below so it gives you a little more privacy than the typical studio loft. There is no dishwasher. There is no internet access. Right where the stairs are located to get to this unit, there are not as many open parking spots as other units.

If there was a similar unit with a dishwasher and wifi access at the same price, then I would probably go with the other unit. But this unit was cheaper than the rest for the weekend I booked it, and I was happy to pay the lower price.
