We enjoyed all the conveniences of SB 24. It was very clean and was completely stocked with utensils and including laundry detergent. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time. We look forward to coming back and reserving SB 24. The staff was very courteous an informative. Thank you.

Laguna Niguel ,CAAwesome place!
Left on 03/21/2012 for a stay in February 2012
I stayed with a friend over the President's Day Weekend and we loved it. The owner's must have just bought all new funiture in the front room because it was stylin' (some of the wood pieces still had the tags on them :). Anyway, don't bother driving to Canyon Lodge because it is only a half a block away. After a long day of snowboarding I came back to the place and opened up the blinds to see tons of snow out the window. There is a big empty lot perfect for making snowmen and for sledding. We could see our kids playing from the living room couch and the kitchen. The master bedroom and main bedroom have new flat screens. I used the laundry machine and came home with clean clothes. The kitchen has this big, long section adjacent to it that is perfect for putting out food for meals. There are also plently of places to sit and enjoy your food.
We had the spa all to ourselves both nights which was nice. One car gets a garage spot thast feeds right to the elevator. Luggage catrs were a nice touch as well. I really liked this unit and will definitely return. Thanks!!! -
A lot left to be desired

This place is in desperate need of updating. The fireplace did not work and we had someone come to fix it several times, really needs a safer update with the fireplace. The furniture is run down and very out of date. For the money, we expected a little nicer. The location was good, but we would be more than willing to stay further away for better accommodations.

Mom of two teenagers
San Clemente, CASuper clean, but not well-stocked and no working fireplace!
Left on 12/29/2010 for a stay in December 2010
This is a spacious condo that was really clean and comfortable. The elevator and luggage cart made getting into the condo easy and we appreciated the garage. We stayed over Mammoth's big snow storm and were glad to be able to walk to the lodge. The spa was warm and it was nice to have an indoor spa too. The water could have been cleaner, and we could not use the sauna because there had been people smoking in there. The cigarette butts were all over the floor!
The first night there were no sheets for the pull out couch and the gas fireplace wouldn't work. We were snowed in the next day and lost power about six times. There were no candles or flashlights to be found! The guy who came with the sheets did manage to get the fire going but we could never get it lit ourselves. We ran out of toilet paper because there were only two extra rolls. Another thing about the fireplace is that since it is gas, the flue doesn't close. During this storm, the glass fireplace doors would blow open! Made for a very cold living room, but when we turned the heat up the bedrooms were too hot. We couldn't find some basic cooking supplies like a liquid measuring cup, but they did deliver extra towels. Never did get the toilet paper, even though we called.
Besides the fireplace, the other difficult thing is that there is no internet access. We really needed information and could not get it. There were no channel guides or Mammoth magazines that we could have used. We felt a bit stranded and isolated.
All that said, the cleanliness was wonderful and the location is perfect. We could walk to the lodge, even in those harsh conditions and it was nice to be on the second floor. (One time we saw a kid's plastic sled blowing by the window!) This is a spacious condo, we were there with two teenagers and their adult cousin and did not feel cramped at all. If they fixed the fireplace and stocked the condo, and added internet, we would stay there again for sure.Response from Mammoth Premiere Reservations - 07/15/2011

Thanks for your input regarding the needed items in this unit. The fireplace has been repaired and works great now. The owner is installing internet this summer. Once yearly we go through our units and re-stock the kitchens with needed items. The Mammoth Premiere offices are open 7 days a week. We have staff ready and willing to purchase anything you need to make your stay more enjoyable. Mammoth magazines are complimentary and available in our office for guests to pick up at check-in. We are sorry you experienced power outages during your stay. Winter storms can occasionally cause these but it is not common. We hope to see you again on your next Mammoth vacation.

Hermosa Beach, CaliforniaAmenties lacking
Left on 02/24/2010 for a stay in February 2010
For what we paid, the lack of high-speed internet connectivity and access to hot tubs and pool make this unit one that we'll not again rent. Also, neither the trash compactor nor the fireplace were operable. Overpriced and underdelivery. sj

Del Mar, CAGreat location but needs improvements
Left on 01/06/2010 for a stay in December 2009
The location was what we like the best about the Silver Bear complex. We stayed in another unit last year that had a more complete kitchen as well as better seating arrangement in the living room. The couch in unit #24 should be replaced. It is too small for a group and is worn out. The beds, however, are very comfortable. Every condo we have stayed in at Mammoth has had more staples supplied in the kitchen. This condo did not even have sugar. I purchased sugar, cooking oil, tea, etc. and left them for future visitors. The thing we liked least was that the condo complex did not have the outdoor jacuzzi improvements completed before the BUSIEST AND MOST EXPENSIVE week of the year. The outdoor jacuzzi was turned on the last day we were there, apparently to test it, but we were barred from entering through the sliding doors. The inside jacuzzi is disgusting and way too small. We were disappointed that the outside jacuzzi wasn't available for our stay. I mentioned it to the the women at Mammoth Premiere when I checked out. She mentioned that they were waiting for the city inspection. I told her this was totally unacceptable. We would stay in Silver Bear in the future, just in a different unit.
