Snowcreek #288 is situated in an ideal part of the Meadow Area of Mammoth offering tranqil surroundings and stunning scenery. This unit is a lovely two bedroom plus loft with two bathrooms and features some very charming decor and new carpeting. Vibrantly colored walls highlight every room and hall of this home and compliment the furnishings and unique accents featured throughout the unit. The master offers a private bathroom, a full size closet, and a flat screen television. A private deck from the master leads out to an enviable view of the Sherwin Mountains, Mammoth Rock, and a charming duck pond. The second bedroom is furnished with... a queen size bed, lovely coordinating furniture and a flat screen television. A flight of stairs will bring you up to the kitchen and living area. The kitchen is spacious and will accommodate all your cooking needs. There are five barstools situated around the counter and a dining table with seating for six to eight. The living area features all new furnishings, including a large sectional sofa, a reclining chair, 42" flat screen TV with DVD player and a warm and inviting pellet stove fireplace. A deck just off the living area boasts spectacular views of the Sherwin Mountains and Mammoth Crest. In the loft you will find two twin beds and charming furnishings. This entire unit has been thoughtfully decorated with a special goal of making guests feel right at home! FREE DOMESTIC LONG DISTANCE is offered in this unit. FREE internet access is also offered. Bed Arrangement: A king in the master, a queen in the second bedroom, and two twins in the loft. The maximum occupancy is six guests.Project Amenities: Outdoor parking, a common area spa. Use of the Snowcreek Athletic Club is NOT included with this unit. You can purchase a day pass at Snowcreek Athletic Club, children are $13 and adults are $20 per day.Rates: The summer rate is $250 per night. The winter rates are $250 per night midweek and $300 per night over the weekend.   Over the last 30 years I have stayed in over 50 different condos in Mammoth Lakes.
  
  The Snowcreek Development is vast. This condo was in an area that was very quiet. The parking was easy. Outside the back door is a pretty little pond. The shared jacuzzi was 25 yards away. We went there after dinner and we were the only ones using it.
  
  The inside of the condo was spacious. The decor was very nice. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was very nice as well.
  
  The rental price was very good for the quality and size of the condo.

  I did have to call Snowcreek Homeowners Association to help me break up the
  thick and dangerous ice that built up at the entry to the unit. Perhaps
  supplying units with stronger snow shovels would help.
  
  While the unit was warm and homey and the living room furniture
  arrangement, we did feel we were intruding into the owners' personal space
  because the unit was overflowing with so many personal family photographs
  and personal effects. Also, we are used to having enough storage space in the
  Snowcreek units we regularly rent. At 288, because the large pantry in the
  kitchen was locked, we had no place to store our food other than the counter.
  Also locked was one of the two main closets and the chest of drawers in the
  master bedroom, which made storage difficult. Too many plastic plants in
  every room!

  Thank you so much for your input. This unit has new owners who have completely redone the living area with beautiful new furnishings and a flat screen television. The bedrooms also have new comforters. They have opened up the kitchen pantry so there is plenty of storage. We hope you will book this unit again on your next Mammoth vacation.   We love this unit and have stayed there before. The down side is that this unit used to have wifi and now does not. It was terribly inconvenient not to have internet access. As much as we love the unit, we will have to choose something else next time that has internet access.

  This unit does have internet. It is shared with other units in the Snowcreek developement so occassionally it may be slow if a lot of people are on at the same time. Possibly, the internet was down during your stay. We have not had any problems recently. The unit also has new owners who have completely redecorated the living area with beautiful new furnishings as well as new carpeting. We hope you will give it another try on your next Mammoth vacation.

  The View Makes Up For Any Shortcomings

  We loved this unit because of the view off both decks. The furniture is worn out, temp is hard to regulate, loft is pretty hot in the summer, and the TV small with no working remote. The Blu Ray worked with remote and we did rent a couple movies one night. The screendoor had a couple holes that the flying critters could get through, but it was expected. The scenery can't be beat and wouldn't trade that for anything.
