Mammoth Lakes, CAExcellent Customer Service

I booked this party for a client of ours. The customer service with Mammoth Premiere Reservations was excellent! Kathy helped me find a condo that fit my budget and needs. Our client loved the condo and the pool.

Orange Countyclose to the slopes, condo in good condition
Left on 01/22/2010 for a stay in January 2010
condo was close to the slopes. easy walking distance. no hills. covered parking for one car. full kitchen, 3 smaller sized tv's. right next to outdoor spa. only problem was early in the morning you could hear people upstairs walking around. if you get up in the morning to hit the slopes it shouldn't bother you. it's what i expected. overall i was happy with the condo. nothing lavish or special but fine for a winter snowboarding trip.

CaliforniaGood location, but lots of problems
Left on 01/06/2010 for a stay in January 2010
The proximity to the lifts is great and the size was adequate, but we had a lot of problems with this unit. The unit had a odd smell when we walked in, never did figure out what it was, but both my husband and I were congested the whole time we were in the condo. Upon arrival, while unpacking food into the refrigerator, a mouse ran out of the kitchen through the living room. We never saw it again, but kept all of our dry goods in the oven just in case. The king bed was extremely uncomfortable - the slightest turn and the whole bed rolled and shook. The stove and oven would not stay on things would start to cook, then I'd go back and check and the burner (and/or oven) had gone off, though the lights indicated otherwise, took 1 and half hours to cook something that should have been less than 30 minute (and that's accounting for altitude). The walls are very thin and the unit is right next to the stairs so we were kept up with people stomping up the stairs at all hours, and leaving early to ski. And they would scrap the snow at 7:45 every morning right outside our window. The shower did not regulate and didn't always have hot water- it was either steaming hot or ice cold - not sure if the water is shared with the other units or laundary or what - but an ice cold shower after skiing is not what I had in mind! One or two of these things would have been tolerable, but it seemed one thing after another. It was our least pleasant accomodations we've ever had and the price tag wasn't cheap.

The unit was great. One issue we all had cold showers every day. Evening and morning. This was frustrating.
