What Past Guests Are Saying
a view to remember
Thoughtfully furbished and spacious apartment with lots of privacy and a $$$m view. We loved the balcony and great wifi accessabilty. Not really suitable if you have mobility issues and big luggage, the stairs to the 2nd floor is so narrow and steep, it is a real struggle. A long uphill walk with lots of steps- great place if you don't mind walking, like us, especially at the end of a day out.
Service from the agent is faultless. There was plenty of linen/blankets but there was also a sweaty smell when you open the cupboard in the bedroom, suggesting some linen/blankets were probably aired and stored in the cupboard. I would prefer to have just enough fresh clean linen/blankets rather plenty of spares which may not be fresh. Personally would stay there again.
What a view...
Appartamento Panorama lived up to its title...the view from both the kitchen/living space and one of the bedrooms was not to be believed. The apartment was well appointed with dishwasher, clothes washer and lots of little extras...and it's right next door to the best restaurant in town! It's quite a hike up to the apartment including the internal stairs which are amazingly steep, but strapping young Stephano from the agency helped us up the final flight!
So what's holding me back from a full five stars...There was a persistent mildew odor in the bathroom, which seemed to come from the clothes washer. And there is really no "living area" other than the kitchen which is roomy and has a table that comfortably serves 4. For the price, I'd have expected a bit more...

Remarkable accommodations at Panorama!
Loved our Panorama apartment for the 3 short days we stayed in Paradise, also known as Manarola. Clean, well stocked, comfortable, quiet, quaint and a great work out for our quads each time we came back "home." Arbaspaa was professional, helpful, welcoming and very responsive to all email communications from the USa. Thank you for a most memorable part of our 30th anniversary celebration.
Happy Travellers to Italia
Awesome! Sorry, I know it's a cliche but ...
This place - Appartamento Panorama - is wonderful! Just look at the photo - it's really got a drop-dead gorgeous view. But one has to work for it! It's quite a climb up the hill to get to the place, and then lots of stairs up to the top of it's building. But we loved it and wish we could have stayed longer. The interior is refreshed in the way that many of the buildings of this era are refreshed inside, and very up-to-date in its furnishings. It's a bit mix-and-match, which adds to its charm - if we had wanted matchy matchy there are plenty of sanitized rooms and hotels to stay in. There are two bedrooms, which is a life saver for a family of three with a snorer. One bedroom has twin beds & windows that open out to the small patio and amazing view, as does the main living area - a kitchen, really. It was very well outfitted, so I feel like we could have saved some money by cooking there if we had wanted to. We visited all the 5 towns, and Manarola is by far our favorite - good mix of tourist amenities (i.e. lots of good restaurants, gift shops, and gelato) and real stores serving real residents. Arbaspaa were great hosts, though this is clearly a business venture, not a family-run accommodation. All in all, this was a fabulous first visit to Manarola, and we hope to return.

Apartment Panoramo is perfectly located to provide stunning views across the countryside and the sea. Quick access down to the shops and harbor or up to the trails. The apartment is clean, comfortable and well equipped with everything you could need for a short residence. Arbaspaa staff could not have been more helpful or accommodating including making a phone call on our behalf to France to extend our rental car booking. Trattoria Billy is next door making the air smell delicious but it is never loud. If you want wifi, however, it is available but only in the back bedroom or the stairway - on vacation in this beautiful place this is an insignificant inconvenience.

Favorite part of our Italy adventure! :)
Appartamento Panorama was everything we hoped for and more! We loved our stay in Manarola and this apartment was perfect; the view was breathtaking, the town was charming, the local food was amazing, and the apartment had everything we needed including a coffee pot and coffee! Sitting out on the Terrace sipping our coffee or vino was unbelievably beautiful! We spent a long weekend exploring and enjoying Cinque Terre. We were met upon our arrival and escorted to our door. Great exercise and beautiful views! We also got to meet the owners as we were packing up; delightful couple that truly cares about their guests. We would definitely stay here again.

This was a wonderful quaint ocean side village. The view from the balcony was to beautiful to explain in words. The apartment had everything we needed, it was small, but with that view, we spent all the time in the room on the balcony enjoying wine. I would do it all again in a heartbeat.
the view is awesome
We enjoyed our three day stay. Sipping wine on the balcony watching the sunset brings out the poet in all of us. The kitchen was adequate for our needs. The clothes washer was big plus for us. The staff was very helpful. Only negative is walking from edge of town to the office and then back to car because we could not drive into town. When leaving we had to repeat this because we had a secure parking spot.
Wow the view was great the food at billy's was fabulous the walking trails are a little Scarey! But adventourous!

What a wonderful view!
Though the walk up to the apartment is tough, the end result is amazing. The views are fantastic from the balcony even if it is a bit smaller than we had hoped. The apartment is perfect for two couples who don't mind sharing a bathroom or for a family with two children so it was perfect for ourselves and the couple traveling with us. The kitchen is very well equipped and even had sugar for coffee in the morning. And the cafe down in town has the most wonderful pastries, even better than New York City. Of all the five towns in Cinque Terre, we believe we picked the right one with the perfect apartment.
Our stay was great! The view is spectacular and Manarola and Cinque Terre was just as remembered. Watching the grape harvest was amazing and I love it there. Only complaint, the shower is quite tiny, but sufficient. We had a great time and would stay again! I would recommend this to anyone that figures they can do the stairs (there are quite a few, but anywhere in Cinque Terre has a lot of stairs or incline).
We all had a wonderful time my family and I. The view on the balcony is incredible, it is worth the walk up hill. The appartment is small but well equiped, it is very clean.
Sehr schöner Urlaub . Gerne wieder
Alles so wie in der Werbung beschrieben.
Da gibt es nix zu meckern.

The view from this apartment is stunning from every window, we l
The service was fantastic from the moment we sent out booking enquiries to the time we arrived in Manorola. The apartment was great for our family of four. It was not huge but had everything we required and it was really well stocked with all necessities. Manorola was a lovely base to explore the Cinque Terre and it was filled with beautiful restaurants and a few shops for supplies. The view was much better than we anticipated from the photos but the stairs with our heavy suitcases were a killer. The apartment is next door to a fantastic restaurant called Dal Billy but it was never noisy.
What a lovely stay and wonderful apartment. Finding the office was easy and the ladies working there are very friendly and helpful. The apartment had everything we needed. Very clean. We easily prepared a nice meal in the kitchen. So great to have a washing machine. Only negative: Shower was very small with curtain that kept sticking to me. Manarola is delightful; picturesque, authentic and the favorite part of our trip to Italy. Believe what you read about the stairs. The town is built into the side of a cliff and the road is steep, the sidewalks are steep, the stairs are steep. Hiking the trails was magnificent and we visited all 5 towns. In our opinion, Manarola was the best.
This was the perfect place to stay and visit Cinque Terre, and do some laundry! Gorgeous view high above the sea and next door to Billy's the best restaurant! Even though it was rainy and windy when we visited we were able to do laundry by using the drying rack provided. Wish the machine had directions printed in English. We were a little stressed out about arriving by 6 pm, especially since the train workers had a one day strike, we found a nice lady from the neighboring town looking for her clients at the La Spezia station so I asked if we could go with her, she called arapasa who very kindly met us at the church.

Amazing view and great location in sleepy Manorola
We stayed in this apartment for 3 nights in October 2011. The apartment is well appointed for 4 people. However, if you intended to do a lot of cooking (we prepared snacks, not meals), you may find the kitchen small for your needs. The views from the rooms are amazing it it is literally next door to the famous Billy's restaurant. The arbaspaa group are full of ideas for what you can do during your stay in Manorola and I would not hesitate to book through them again. We sat on the deck and watched the sunset over the Mediterranean, pure bliss.
The Cinque Terre region is beautiful and a pleasant place to explore.
Great apartment up on the hill. Balcony was a bit thin when you put the table out, but fine. Great views, no living room area, just kitchen, but all you need :)
Our favorite spot in Europe
My husband and I both went backpacking through Europe with our friends in 2002. He and his friends had the chance to go to Cinque Terre because they heard how amazing it was from other backpackers. I was not so fortunate to make it there:( So after we got married in 2006, we have been planning to make it there someday. Once we found out that we were able to make it back to Europe, we started looking for rentals in Cinque Terre, but still were not sure if we were going to make it there. Our vacation was mainly planned for Spain since we were staying with a family friend there, but we were dying to make it over to Italy too. Good thing, we switched up some plans and yes, we were finally going to make it Cinque Terre. I'm sooo glad we made it there and my husband was right...it is the most picturesque place in Europe! We were so glad we stayed in Manarola too. In our opinion it's the best city in Cinque Terre. It was not too touristy and it has the best views from everywhere in the city. Our apartment was towards the top of the city so we had breathtaking views of the bay and sunsets from our balcony which is definitely key if you plan on vacationing in Cinque Terre. I would not recommend getting a place without one. Our apartment was very well equipped especially the kitchen. We loved cooking dinner for our family almost every night! Also the washing machine was very easy to use and again another must if you plan on staying here or at least for us since we hiked everyday we were there. The only thing we didn't like was that there was not a living room, but we just opened up the french doors in the kitchen/dining room to the balcony and we sat at the table or out on the balcony.
Another great thing about Manarola is the free (non paved) hike from Manarola to Corniglia (trail 6). It goes through the terraced fields so you can see all the fresh grapes and produce growing and then through the forest. It's absolutely beautiful!
manarola at the heart of 5 terre
a beautiful appartment with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Modern light and airy.
Location was fantastic, right in the heart of great restaurants where we ate some of the best food in Italy. It was also very safe for the chikdren as there were no cars and the town had a great sense of comunity. Swimming was also beatiful, although no sand, it was like our very own private rockpool!

Return trip to Manarola
I returned to Manarola after a wonderful holiday last year in Cinque Terre. We wanted a balcony view and boy did we get one in your lovely apartment. We spent many hours on the balcony taking in the breathtaking view.
The apartment was well equipped especially the kitchen and we cooked in 2 nights. Have recommended your apartment to many friends.Only drawback are the steep steps up from the village to the apartment so it may not suit everyone.
Or apartment was perfectly located near the top row of houses. The view from my bedroom window was a blend of terraced hilltops and the blue Mediterranean. I found the kitchen to be well equipped. I cooked nearly every night and dined on the terrace. I have a hard time relaxing and found our apartment, the town of Manarola, its people and the lack of wifi to be the perfect combination for relaxing. We hiked town to town by day and watched the sun set on the Mediterranean at night. We even took a cooking class in La Spezia. It was truly a magical and relaxing trip. I will go back. The arbaspaa management was very helpful and accomodating from initial contact via email to giving us detailed information about our apartment, Manarola and local activities. We could not have been more pleased.
Nice little apartment with a balcony overlooking town and the sea. Its the perfect spot to enjoy some breakfast or a relaxing beer in the afternoon.
It is located up a hill and some steps but its definitely worth the walk
So sad to leave!
What a phenomenal apartment, it definitely has one of the best views in Manarola. It is a shame there were so many beautiful walks and places to explore because I could have just sat on the balcony all day looking out to sea and watching the village below.
This was definitely one of the best places we stayed the whole trip. There is no lounge area, but enough room for everyone on the balcony, it was great having 2 good size bedrooms both with amazing views. Make sure you eat at Billy's downstairs, but make a booking.
I stayed at this place for four nights with a friend and partner, The apartment was big enought for three or 4 easily and the balcony outside with the views of sunset was really nice. This is such a good option compared to staying in hotels, there were all those little things that made it feel like home, olive oil and vinegar to whip up a salad for dinner, and a washing machine and soap to wash cloths- it was a little chilly so we appreciated the heat lamp in the bathroom. it was clean, airy, with views of the ocean and manarola in the off season is a great base. Reccomended!
An apartement with a fantastic panorama
We spent 4 Nights with our 2 daughters in this apartment. The vista is just marvellous. The apartment is simple and for us it had too many unuseful things laying around - needs urgent refurbishing. The beds in one room were small and uncomfortable. If this apartment would be renovated it would be fantastic. We spent the sunset on the balcony having a aperetiv - which was unforgettable. Also the restaurant "Billy" just next door is a very good choice for seafood lovers. They serve typical local fish dishes. The waiter will come and show you the fish of choice holding it in his hand!

Perfect apartment in Manarola
We stayed in this apartment from October 6-9/10. We arrived in Manarola by train, walked through the tunnel and arrived on the main street, and found the arbaspaa office . A friendly, young woman met us and walked with us to the apartment. This is no easy walk, uphill all the way, and since she assured us she was used to the climb, helped lug some of our overpacked suitcases up the hill. Upon arriving at the door, we still had a couple of flights of steep steps to climb, but when we entered the apartment, the climb was worth it.
The two bedroom apartment (one with a queen bed and the other with twin beds), well equipped kitchen with table and four chairs, and small bathroom with shower was perfect for us but the crowning glory was the balcony, with a small table and two chairs , overlooking the town and sea. Since the weather was super for being outdoors, we spent most of our time while in the apartment, out there. We enjoyed watching the village come to life as we ate our breakfast and seeing the wonderful sunsets during our "happy hours' and sometime our self prepared dinners.
All in all, our visit to Cinque Terre was fabulous and our apartment certainly made our visit very enjoyable. We loved returning to it each day and listening to the churchbells ring and watch the sun set.
The staff at arbarspaa were very friendly and welcoming, and were always keen to help in any way they could. We really enjoyed our stay at apartment Panorama - it was clean & tidy and had an amazing view over the village and out to sea. One of the pleasures we enjoyed during our stay was watching the sun set from our balcony. It was a challenge getting up there, particularly with our bags, but the view was absolutely stunning once we got up there.
What a view !!!
Everyone at arbaspaa was very helpful during our stay, the only draw back to staying at the apartment Panorama was walking up the hill with our luggage and backpacks but even then it was kind of funny because it showed us how out of shape we were after sending 10 days in Tuscany eating and drinking everything in sight. The place is out of this world plus you have the added bonus of being next door to one of the #1 restaurants in Monarola ...Billys..the best sea food around.. My husband and I will defiantly come back and stay at this apt. Grazie to everyone at arbaspaa..

We love Manarola and the small town atmosphere
Manarola and the apartment were wonderful. The only thing that would have been nice is a comfortable couch to relax on at the end of the day and a little sitting area to talk with a couple of friends; perhaps you could have the kitchen area have more comfortable chairs to sit in and a really little couch on one of the walls. Otherwise, it was fantastic.
Unforgetable and truly a place to experience
I loved Manarola and the whole of the Cinque Terre. Even though there were many steps to our apartment , the panaramic view from our apartment made us forget about our heavy luggage. The office was so efficient with our check in. They even helped us with our luggage. We had no problems finding the office. The apartment was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The view from our apartment was magnificent! It was wonderful waking up in the morning to such a beautiful outlook. Restaurants were great and everyone was so friendly. I would recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to stay at Manarola. I wish I could have stayed longer, but I will be back one day. My teenage daughter loved it. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
we stayed in your apt. in Manarola (a bit of a hike with luggage) but very worth it for the view! It was very well accomodating and the lovely person walked us to our apt. as it would have been difficult to find if not for her! she was lovely! The apt. had the MOST amazing view and the hike up to it was good for us every day!!!! good kitchen accomodations and even had laundry facilities in the bathroom! thank you ! we would definitely stay again with 2 couples! thanks...dorene/Minnesota

What a place!
Your rep stayed late to greet us the first night.
The fully equipped apartment was quaint and Billy's
next door was great eats. The town is so pretty and the people loved the kids. Wish we had another week to stay and unwind.
