This accomodation is just next door to a very popular restaurant with great food, the views are great and the room was good with a fridge, cooking gear shower was good and bed was comforable. We would recommend this place for a cosy romantic stay. If we return we would book it again the walk tests you out but it is worth it PS: take the walking path across the other side up the church sign on the hill opposite the views back towards the room are great and check out the vinyard when you walk along the top of the hill. Kick back and relax.

We stayed 3 nights in this studio apartment in September. What an awesome little place. The view from the patio/deck is magical. It was nice to wake up every morning and be able to sit out there with coffee & breakfast. Since it has a small kitchen we made our own local coffee & breakfast every day. We even bought a bunch of local food to cook our own dinner 2 nights. You just cant beat the sunset view.

My husband and I were in Italy for our honeymoon in May 2012. We spent three nights in Manarola, and stayed at Studio albicocca. We were very pleased with the cleanliness of the studio, its amenities and its location. We especially loved sitting out on the balcony and enjoying our ocean view. We'd come back in a heartbeat!

We (me and my boyfriend) stayed in Studio albicocca at the end of October. The little studio is very nice, the bed really confortable and the patio wonderful with its incredible view!
The only problem was that the studio was a bit damp, but we opened the door and it was better; anyway if you go to Cinque Terre, you won't stay inside, there's too much to see, the landscape is so nice! Therefore, Studio albicocca is really ok! Furthermore, it's one of the cheapest sea-view accomodation in Manarola ;)
Just 10 steps from the studio you can find the restaurant "Trattoria dal Billy"..I think everyone who's visiting Manarola should go there, everything's so tasty :)
So, thank you very much to arbaspaa staff for being so kind despite the terrible flood :(
I hope we'll come back soon!

This was a great little place, in a great spot with a priceless view. The only issue we had was the level of noise generated by the fridge and the water heater. We had to turn off the main power overnight to stop this. Also, the clock on the heater ticks very loudly ... Aside from this, everything was really great.

Wow what a great villa in a picture perfect location. The only thing that was tough was the walk up the hill with a suitcase, but once you arrive, just magnificant and worth the walk. There is everything you need in a self-contained villa, and also has a clothes for that all important washing. The balcony was just perfect for watching those glorious sunsets. Perhaps an iron in the villa would be an added bonus. The only other issue was that I was not there long enough, next time I would like to spend a month there and really explore the walks and experience alot more italian cuisine. The price for 5 nights was extremely reasonable. Manarola is a great base for the 5 villages. thank you anna for the opportunity to stay at Studio albicocca, I had a wonderful experience.

The studio is comfortable with kitchenette, big bathroom, patio area for reading/ eating, and fantastic view to the sea for very reasonable rate of 70 euro/night. It is nestled high in the hills so there are several steep steps down to the unit from the street. Do not bring heavy luggage. Small 22in carry on or smaller is best. The water heater takes a while to heat up so hot shower only last for 3-4 minutes.
The property is 2 doors from a delicious restaurant Trattoria dal Billy with beautiful view and fresh seafood. We had the home made pasta with lobster both days we were in Manarola and it is not to be missed. -

Our accommodations were charming and the place was well equipped. My favorite part was the terrace with the beautiful view. The worse part was the lack of hot water for a shower.
Once I was guaranteed that was fixed, I would recommend it. -

We absolutely loved our little studio. It was situated only a short five-minute walk from the train station. The view from our little patio was amazing. We loved having breakfast there. What an amazing view to wake up to: sea and vineyards. The studio was also well-equipped and had everything we needed: fridge, kettle, hairdrier, towels etc. It was clean and tidy. Plus, I have to say that Manarola is a great village to stay in. Not too big, not too small. Less crowded than Monterosso and Riomaggiore. All in all, great experience. Thank you very much.

Boston, MAGreat apartment with perfect views
Left on 02/10/2010 for a stay in May 2009
We stayed at Studio Albicocca at the recommendation
of a family member who had also stayed there a few
months before we did. When we arrived in Manarola
the owner met us at the train station and took us
to the apartment. She was very helpful and
explained all the details of the apartment. The
apartment itself is quite small, but has all the
amenities that one would need such as a full size
bathroom, shower, closet and kitchen area. It also
has a small outdoor area with great views. The
outdoor area is small and is semi-private because
it's part of a walkway to someone else's home.
I would highly recommend this studio. -

This is my second attempt at submitting a glowing review of Studio Albicocca in Manarola (the first one, as I'm afraid this one might be, was deceptively not fully transferred by FlipKey -- a site which has now sent me three unsolicited emails in the span of a month, two of which referred to the incorrect vacation studio). I will try this final time to express my gratitude to Arbaspaa for organizing our wonderful stay at Studio Albicocca, which had all the amenities we could have needed and an even better view than we had imagined. We look forward to returning to this beautiful spot as soon as possible!

This was our 3rd time back to Cinque Terra so, we knew we wanted to stay in the more quiet town of Manarola. The property location was up MANY flights of stairs. I am a fit/active person and found the walk to be long and challenging in the heat.
The view was beautiful and it was nice to have a small plastic table to enjoy wine and cheese while taking in the sunset. The studio is right next to a restaurant so, if you expect total quiet being a 15 minute walk up the hill you will be let down.
The studio was very small, and extremely musty. There were no windows or ventilation. I believe this is a converted wine cellar. The bed was awful and the bathroom smelled. The only positive things about this property were the view and having a kitchen.
We were on our honeymoon and unfortunately the accommodations of this studio were less than romantic and comfortable.
The staff was not accommodating. When we asked to switch properties, instead of accommodating us, the required that we rebook another property for a minimum of 3 nights.
I would not recommend this property and will not return.Response from Arbaspaa - 09/17/2009

I have decided to respond and not to protest even if I think a part of the review is completely untrue.
First : to reach the Studio there are 2 streets, one without steps and one with many steps. If you do not like steps take the first.I live here and do the second in 5 minutes from the centre of the village (15 minutes is really not sustainable for a fit person).
Second : The kitchen of the restaurant close at 10.30 pm and it is a small restaurants located in the less touristy street of Manarola.
Third : The studio is small as written on the web site but there is a big door/window to guarantee ventilation. It is true that we have had a very moist august but in the studio there is a dehumidifier.
Forth : we are obsessed by cleaness, if we were informed of the smell we would have cleaned again and again. We had no complaint about it.
Fifth : we always offer an alternative if possible. In August we were completely fully booked. But never require 3 nights to assure an alternative of the same level managed by Arbasp?a, this is completely untrue.
Finally I believe the studio was chosen because it is one of the cheapest accommodation and unfortunately August was extremely hot and moist.
To say the staff was not accomodating is simply a lie.

This studio is a bit of a hike up the hill, but the view is worth the hike. The studio was very clean, small, but the stone ceiling gave it a nice ambiance. When we weren't hiking or sightseeing, we spent most of our time on the porch enjoying the view of the sea and vineyards. The sunsets were great! After a day of hiking, we didn't feel like hiking down and back up the hill so we ate at Trattoria Billy, right next to the studio. Excellent! We recommend this place and would stay there again.
