186338A little disappointed by the allegorical elements

Don't get me wrong, everything you've heard about this place is true. The chocolate river doesn't disappoint, the waiting staff are extremely attentive (although the singing can get irritating) and the quirky interiors are sure to make some great photos to take home.
I was a bit let down, though, by the allegorical outcomes for me and my party. We'd been expecting something really innovative and unique - maybe being sucked into the internet for my friend who spends too long online, or that guy who drinks too much floating away on a river of beer. Sadly, it looks like they've let this element drop almost entirely. There was a bit of fun with a giant boardgame for my one friend who's addicted to WoW, but otherwise we all got away pretty much unscathed, with very little prompting to re-examine our lives and priorities.
Still, great trip! The chocolate pillows on the pillows are a nice touch. -

I wanted my own boat for my own chocolate lake and my own Oompa Loompas to row me around, but Mr. Wonka wouldn't let my dad buy them for me. Most of all I wanted a squirrel. Overall bad, bad customer service.

Such a wonderful time we had, my Charlie and me. We were a little uncertain at first, but Mr. Wonka turned out to be a wonderful host and he spares no expense for his guests. And just when we thought we were going home, we are flown away on an entirely new adventure! Such an experience, and much better than screwing caps onto toothpaste tubes all day.
