Before heading to the beach, soak in the sun on your very own private and enchanting landscaped patio space with upper deck off living area.

Two fireplaces, two gas grills, two furnished patio spaces, and two "living spaces" complete this house that is ideal for groups or individuals. Upper house with full kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, and deck can be rented for a reduced rate of $249 (peak) & $149 (off peak) and accommodates up to 4. Rent the whole house to accommodate up to 6 for $320 (peak) & $249 (off peak). Main level living area offers a bedroom, living room, bathroom, 42" led flatscreen, & mini bar/kitchen setup including a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee station.

We supply beach gear such as body boards, beach towels, beach cruiser bikes, and chairs/umbrella.

Property is located in a prime walkable Manhattan Beach location West of Highland. 3 blocks from the water you are at the center of the beach universe with shopping, surfing, strand biking, & exceptional bars/restaurants all within a 5 minute walk. This is a classic two level beach house in a sought after and laid back beach community.

  We rented the upper floor of this lovely house. It's not sprawling but the size was perfect for us. The house is impeccably decorated, down to the last detail. (If you open a drawer you'll find tasteful patterned drawer liners, etc.), there are great home furnishings, fluffy towels and robes and artful touches everywhere. Very cute. It's not right on the ocean, as explained in the listing, but it's a very, very short walk to both the beach and the main drag where there are plenty of places to dine. Or you can cook for yourself in the very nicely equipped kitchen. There were even beach cruiser bikes available that we used to take a great ride on the beach bike path. We loved it and would most definitely stay there again.

  We spent 5 nights with our toddler twins in this great Manhattan Beach house. The house was fully stocked, had plenty of space, and a nice outdoor area for meals (or playing, depending on your age). The house is walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the beach, and a short drive to two excellent grocery stores (whole foods on Sepulveda and Bristol farms on Rosecrans). The parking spot is very small, but we had pretty good luck with street parking. Would still agree with the owner's recommendation to rent/bring a smaller car. If traveling with kids, be prepared to do a little child proofing and be aware that the staircase is long and tiled. Manhattan Beach is very kid friendly, so this is a great place to stay w your kids. We appreciated that the owners were willing to let us try it out even with small kids. Would definitely stay here again.

  To summarize, the place was comfortable, stylish, convenient, had a nice view, and is very well appointed. The bed was comfortable and having a full-size washer and dryer and a very nice kitchen makes this a much more home-like stay than in a hotel. Other pluses include underground parking, wi-fi, cable TV. The doorman and residents of the building we encountered in the lobby and elevator were very friendly. There is a futon in the living area, but I cannot vouch for the comfort of that. There are several restaurants, cafes and coffee houses close by. I heartily recommend Coffee House Northwest on the north side of Burnside. We definitely hope to stay here again during our next trip to Portland.
