I wanted the perfect place to stay in NYC to share my birthday with six girlfriends of mine and I spent hours of research looking at many places before I located "the one". I was nervous about booking a vacation rental - especially in NYC but I will never stay in a NYC hotel again - if I can help it. Trust me - this place is a winner.
The building the apartment is located in - is beautiful, modern and stylish. The men at the security desk were helpful and nice. There is a wine bar in the building - although we never made it there. The apartment was modern, full of light and needed very little decoration because of all the spectacular views of the city in every room. We were all so excited to have such a cool pad.
Here are our faves:
The views from all the rooms - especially the living room
Very comfortable beds with top quality sheets.
24 hour roof top terrace - the views were amazing -we didn't even need to go to the Empire State building.
WIFI
The space - we [seven women] did not feel crowded especially with all our luggage.
Car service to/from the airport - Jason and Denis rock! They had to manage seven women with different pick ups. The service is not free but the ride was so much nicer than a taxi and costs just about the same.
My only negative, which is very tiny - is that the big bedroom needed better light at night. There is a light there but its not as strong as I would have preferred. Although the light itself is very cool to look at. :-)
I will be coming back to NYC next year and the only difference will be that I want the apartment with the balcony next time. Also, I may have to book two apartments because more of my friends want to experience the NYC apartment too.
Nicole has been very helpful and patient to answer all my questions. She made the whole process easy and stress free. Thank you Nicole!!! -

The apartment is very nice, very comfortable and it has SPECTACULAR VIEWS OF MANHATTAN!
It was even bigger than what we thought by seeing the photos in the website.
The only thing (and it can't be changed) is that it was a bit to far...when we were returning, at night, we wished it would have been in the 8th instead of the 10th. But I think the views worth renting it! -

Absolutely Fabulous
Apartment really has the wow factor. The views are stunning to the East West and North, one of my best memories was getting up early one morning and seeing the sunrise over the sky scrappers from the living room window. Apartment has everything you could want for, rooms are a good size, blow up bed available for extra sleeping. Kitchen had everything we needed although we didn?t cook much, why would you its New York! Very convenient for the theatre district, 10 minute walk away, as is the subway. Nichole was a great host, very efficient, good communication and very nice when you meet her. If I was going back I?d definitely book this apartment again. 10 out of 10.

Lo pasamos fenomenal y el apartamento fue una parte muy importante.
Estupendamente situado, muy cerca de todo, muy comodo, con todo lo necesario y MARAVILOSAS VISTAS
Todos quedamos encantados y si volvemos a NYork seguro que volvemos a este estupendo apartamento.

We enjoyed a lot and the flat was a very important thing for it.

I had the pleasure of staying in this apartment when
my partner, myself and our two friends stayed in
new York. We were very aprehensive of where to
stay in new York as we had heard many stories of
small, dirty apartments and hotels charging a
ridiculous price.
We found this apartment and were thrilled when we
walked into the building. It's a nice, clean and safe
building with a 24hr concierge. The flat itself was
brilliant with views right across the city and the
Hudson river. There was plenty of room for all four
of us and our enormous bags. Three of us were on
world trips so had two suitcases each and there
was still enough room to move.
The bathrooms were great and the kitchen was a
good size for us to cook each night.
We found we were in the perfect spot to easily walk
to times square and broadway as well as central
park. The subway was probably only 5-10 mins
away so was also easily accessible.
My partner and I have been travelling for a few
months now and this place has by far been the best
place we have stayed.
I would, and have, recommend this to anyone. It
was very reasonably prices especially split between
four.
Overall fantastic, don't wait, book now!!! -

We spent four nights in NYC and while I had been to NYC 4 times prior, this was my first time staying in a rental unit. The penthouse was part of what made our trip fantastic. Most days, we would take a great walk through Central Park in the AM and in the evening we made our way to Times Square. The location and proximity to many sites was wonderful. Nicole was a real pleasure to work with, and gave some wonderful recommendations for dining. Our girls (7 in all ages ranging from 12-18) enjoyed the comforts of the apartments. The pics on the website are most accurate, and we will definitely stay here again! No more hotels for this group since finding this "pearl" in the Big Apple.

Apt with wonderful views on Hudson River (bedrooms)and Manhattan (Livingroom).
10 mn by walk from Time Square !
At night: a unique point a view from the roof: night lights from Time Square and Empire State Building...
Very confortable: Kitchen (just a little lack of tools for cooking ...) two bedrooms (one on these is very large)TV, Net ....
All of us (2 adults and 4 teenagers) have really enjoyed this place !!!
I hope we will come back soon !!!

The apartment was wonderful. Very clean and well equipped, not to mention large. We were a group of five and everyone was very comfortable. Walking distance to everything- would highly recommend. Owner is also very pleasant and helpful. NYC at christmas is beautiful.

Staying at the Midtown Appartment was a once in a lifetime experience. The floor to ceiling views of the midtown skyline were breathtaking as were the views over the Hudson River from the bedrooms. The proximity of the apartment is great with Central Park & Times Square in walking distance and a plethora of restaurants just around the corner. The facilities were very comfortable & we enjoyed use of the gym & roof top deck. We will never forget our stay at the Midtown Appartment, we hope to return one day & we would recommend to anyone. This excellent Luxury 2 bedroom 2 bath Apt in Midtown is spacious, clean and in walking distance to major attractions and trasportation to go anywhere in NYC. Nicole and the reception people make it easy to get in and out and you can trust that this is a legitimate rental through a reputable person. Forget the small and overpriced hotels and live the high life looking out over manhattan from your 20th floor perch.

The apt. is like brand new with a 270 degree view of the west side of Manhattan. It has all the comforts of home and feels that way verses a Hotel. The cross town buses run on 49th and 50th and are only 2 blocks away. They take you right through Times Square and to Rockefeller Center, and all the Subway lines. Also 10th ave. runs uptown and there is and endless supply of cabs at all times. Also I discovered that 9 th Ave has many very good resturants of all varieties.

Hi,
6 girls from Australia stayed in this penthouse in May 2009 and had such a fabulous time. Nicole was extremely helpful given we booked 1 week before arriving! The location was great, right near Restaurant Row and close to Columbus Circle and Times Square. We will definitely stay there again. Also, the reception guys were extremely helpful (especially Jeffrey!).

I come to Manhattan regularly and always stay in Hotels. This time I decided to try one of those properties in "For rent by owner" and was very pleased with the decision.
The rental proces was very easy, Nicole was very helpful and she described everything to the smallest detail on our email exchange.
I was a bit nervious because you never know what you will get from some of the ads, but I was very delighted with what I found when I first arrived at the front desk.
In one word the apartment was AMAZING, very clean, super convinent to all Manhattan, great restaurants near by, and the view.... OMG, the view... super romantic!.... and Quiet!!!! a rarity in Manhattan...
I highly recommend this place to everyone, from a private and romantic getaway to city, to a family with kids or business people that from time to time want to make their own breakfast at home amid the amazing landscape that is manhattan.
All in all, I am coming back to Nicole's place for sure.

Our time at the apartment was an awesome experience. Had 6 women & never felt crowded. The bedrooms are oversized compared to hotel rooms and the view was spectacular. Will never stay in a hotel again. Full kitchen with everything you need. Thanks Nicole!
