Description from the owner
On the first floor of a prewar brownstone, this unique 3-bedroom apartment is all about character. Though recently renovated with modern furnishings, it still does not hinder you from realizing that you are in a building from an era gone by. The charming exposed brick walls reminisce of how things were built in Old New York. Fortunately, this unit is complete with all the modern conveniences needed to survive in today's landscape. At approximately 800 square feet (74 square meters), this unit can comfortably accommodate 6 guests (up to 8 guests maximum). The apartment opens into a roomy living room, which features a coffee table, couch, full-...Read more

Buenos Aires, ArgentinaA lovely stay in Mahanttan
Left on 02/04/2013 for a stay in January 2013
We have arrived from Buenos aires, where the weather is very hot in the summer, to the cold NY. Fortunately, we rented an apartment that was really warm. It is always welcome a hot shower after a long day of fieldtrips. We have had a wonderful stay but what I would like to pinpoint is that Tony was always around helping us with any trouble we could have. I even ordered books from amazon which were sent by the seller by mistake to a different address, and Tony was always there to lend a helping hand. This person to person assitance was quite important to us because it was our first time in NY. I will strongly recommend this place to my friends and relatives or come back one day.

BaltimoreGreat space, great location, and quiet street.
Left on 10/06/2012 for a stay in August 2012
I stayed in this apartment for a girls' weekend in NYC. There were 8 adults. The space was great, and I really enjoyed the location. I have stayed in many parts of mid-town and Murray Hill area, and I like this area because it's close to Central Park and the Columbus Circle subway station, which has access to many subway lines. The apartment was pretty spacious, especially for a NYC apt, and we rarely were tripping over each other. We even managed to survive with one bathroom! It was a warm weekend and the air conditioners in each room kept us comfortable. We were in the rear of the building on the first floor and rarely heard anyone else. The kitchen area was small and basic, but could fulfill your needs for a stay. The fridge is a dorm-sized fridge. The staff at my@H were so very helpful, dealing with them from start to finish was problem-free. I would highly recommend this apartment and this rental group!

Cincinnati, OHConvenient location
Left on 10/02/2012 for a stay in September 2012
There were 5 of us that stayed here. It is about 2 blocks from a subway station and about 2 blocks from Central Park. Great location.
The apartment itself was all we needed as we weren't there that much. It is a small kitchen with a small fridge. The sitting area was great to have to hang out prior to dinner or when we got home. There are 3 bedrooms- 2 with a bunk bed on top. It was easy to work with the leasing company. We would stay here again. There were air conditioners in each bedroom.
Some cons: there are some minor things the owners should do for about $100. The shower curtain had large mildew stains (how much is a shower liner-5.00?). It was very dark with the lights on-get some better light bulbs. One extra roll of toliet paper for 5days/4 nights for 5 people? We bought some toliet paper. Things like this-minor but could easily be fixed.
Again the people that are expecting the same accomodations as a hotel-should stay at a hotel. This was a much better choice for us and the location was great. -

We really enjoyed the apartment specially the location. The apartment is very near a subway station, Central Park, Time Square, two 24 hours drugstores, bakery, a grocery store and many restaurants, every walking distance and safe.
The apartment is exactly as you see it in the web-site, very nice and have all the basic things you may need.

Traveling with my sister and mother...it was nice to have 3 bedrooms. The kitchen was small but very workable. Missed having windows in the living area but that may just be the way NY apts are...this was our first visit. The people above us were very noisy a couple of nights...we went up at 1:30am to ask them to be quiet--sounded like they were moving and dropping furniture. They said they were building something. Contacted Tony and he talked to those folks...was fine after that. 8-10 min walk to the subway. Nice to be near Central Park and the Hudson River for morning runs.

Left on 01/17/2012 for a stay in December 2011
Stayed here for just under two weeks over Christmas. While the living area is small, the bedrooms are a reasonable size, but the location is fabulous!
Bedrooms all have 2 double beds (bunk-like).
Kitchen is small but functional.
Lounge has a lovely exposed brick wall that gives it a true NY feel.
Deli a couple of doors down has very well priced food for an eat in at the apartment, and there are supermarkets and eateries everywhere.
20 minute walk to times square, 5 minute walk to Columbus Circle & Central Park.
This apartment is ground floor so was perfect for my mother traveling with us.
We stayed in winter and heating was fine, but do not think there was air con for summer.
Would highly recommend this rental. -

Barcelonanice stay in a well located apartment
Left on 12/27/2011 for a stay in December 2011
Taking in account that we are in NY city, this 3 bedrooms appartment has a very good relationship quality-price. Maybe is not the most comfortable and well furnished apartment and maybe some part need to be painted, refurbished or cleaned but the final balance is positive and we enjoyed our stay. The assistant of the rental company, Tony, gave us a warm reception and an excellent and fast support and service when was required.

Left on 12/02/2011 for a stay in October 2011
The staff was super helpful. The hot water went out on Thanksgiving day and the managers made sure we had water before the morning was over.
The building itself is not too attractive but was quite central to everything midtown. The unit does sleep 6 comfortably and can sleep more but there is only one bathroom which can cause a backup with showers. Unit was clean and tidy. I would recommend another couch, one couch in a living area for 6-8 people is insufficient especially when there really isn't much eating or cooking space. Also the grade of linens should be upgraded, blankets etc were quite flimsy.
If there are a group of good friends or family, not with youngsters this is a great place to park your bags and head out the door! -

RomaGood Value and pleasant stay in NYC
Left on 09/07/2011 for a stay in June 2011
We were a group of 8 and stayed in this apartment for 10 days in June. My@h agents were very helpful before and during our stay. Most important: the apartment is exactly what you expect by looking at photos and reading comments and reviews: functional, quiet, offering basic comfort, with little sun light (it's on a ground floor). Its central location was perfect to visit NYC, so I can definitely recommend this apartment for those who are looking for a convenient place in NYC, especially for families or large groups, (maybe not for a "romantic escape" ).

This was a great, great lace to stay. Tony and Linus were awesome, whatever we need they help us out. 5 min walk to Central Park and 15 mins to Time Square. Bus stop right outside the door and subway stop about two blocks away. Very quite building safe neighborhood. Apartment was a decent size. We had 5 people and we weren't falling all over our self's. Great experience all around. We will defiantly use these place again when we go back.

Left on 07/08/2011 for a stay in July 2011
We were a group of 5 people, 2 adults and 3 teenagers in NYC for 1 week. We were looking for good value, basic comfort and mostly convenience.
The apartment was clean, quiet, it contained the basic necessities, and the lack of natural light in the living room did not bother us since we were out during the day. We were walking distance from Central Park, Broadway, 5th avenue shopping; with subway stations and buses outside the door, and the Hudson River two blocks away with its bicycle and pedestrian pathway, it was exactly what I was expecting. The wi-fi connection was a great addition and Tony and Linus our contacts, were extremely friendly and available for suggestions and advice. Except for the sometimes noisy upstairs neighbours, we had nothing to complain about. -

I spent one month in Feb. 2011.
The apartment is quite good, a bit "essential" but it definitely had everything one needs, even for a long stay. The location is really excellent (10 min walking to time square) and people at check-in was extremely kind. I definitely recommend it! -

I stayed with my husband and four friends for 12 nights, the apartment was in such central location, it was close to great eateries, had a bus stop right outside and was very close to several subway stops. The managers were very helpful and always responded very promptly to our requests. I would highly recommend this apartment.

Just returned from a great trip to NYC. We were 5 adults & 3 teenagers so booked the apartment based on Value & Location. We weren't disappointed. The ground floor apartment is small but very cleverly renovated so we had no problem with space and some nice old brownstone features. Beds were very comfortable, and while there is only 1 bathroom there was plenty of hot water for showers. The kitchenette allowed us to breakfast in the apartment while getting ready in the mornings. The location at W57th St & 10th ave was perfect. An easy walk to Broadway, Times Sq & Central Park/Columbus Circle. Very safe area, even at night & lots of restaurants & bars closeby. Tony gave us a great tip to get Metro-Cards for the subway (59th St) so we were able to hop on and off as much as we liked. The apartment was ground floor at the back of the building so nice and quiet. The My@H office is located in the same building so very convenient for key pick up & return. We will certainly book this apartment when we visit NYC again.

Left on 04/26/2010 for a stay in April 2010
My husband and I brought his elderly parents, and 2 of our children to NY for a 5 day stay. We opted to rent an apartment since hotels would be costly for 6 people. We figured we could also save money on food since it had a kitchen. The apartment was nice, small, but thats NY for you, and we were all able to move around comfortably. There was plenty of room for sleeping, and all of the sleeping areas were comfortable. The kids especially like sleeping up in the loft. The only thing I would suggest is that they update their bedding, because it did look old and used but it was clean. Also, there were not alot of tv channels available, but there was free wi-fi which was great because I was still working. The apartment was charming, in a great location, is walking distance to everything we needed. In fact we didnt even use the kitchen because we found so many great places to eat around the city. The apartment managers were very helpful and accommodating, and were available whenever we needed them. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend renting an apartment to ge that true NY feel.

We stayed one week there and we really had a good
stay. The apartment was clean and the bedrooms and

In addition, it was 10min walk away from Times Square
and Central Park. There is also a supermarket very
close and you can cook everything at the apartment,
it is highly equiped.

Left on 03/23/2010 for a stay in March 2010
We are so happy to have stayed in this amazing apartment which is located
near so many places of interest. Central Park is only a few blocks away and
there are so many amazing bars and restaurants that surrounded us. The
apartment itself was very clean and had all the amenities we wanted and more.
For a weekend we lived like New Yorkers but didn't have to pay the high rent
that is so common, especially in the neighborhood where this apartment is
located. We will be recommending this rental to all of our friends and family, I
just hope there is availability for us in the future once word gets out about this
place. -

San Francisco, CAA great place to stay in a city that never sleeps
Left on 03/09/2010 for a stay in February 2010
My group of 12 persons stayed here for 4 nights. The MY@H Group knows how to maximize their space, comfortably fitting each of us on a bed at a very reasonable price, considering a trip to NY can be very costly. They had great customer service, from advising us about a storm before our arrival to helping us right away when we informed them about a leak in the bathroom and a few outlets that were out. They also gave us a few recommendations as the majority of my group had never been to NY. The location was perfect with the subway and Central Park within walking distance. My group and I agree that we would stay here again, as well as recommend the MY@H Group to our friends and family. Thanks again for having us, and we look forward to seeing you in the future.
