This apartment is in wonderful "Washington Heights". Fantastic restaurants!! Some of my favorites are 181 Cabrini Cafe, Emmy Lous,., Agave (they make some of the best and freshest Margaritas in the city..all for $4!!!) , Thai, The usual Starbucks, Domino's, McDonald's etc. There is also a cigar lounge and some lovely wine bars tucked away.

Horrible customer service!!
I was in communication with Fabiana for weeks regarding the reservation of a 3 bedroom property in March 2012. I emailed her last Monday to make sure the unit was still available, to which she replied that it was available. I then replied to please advise how to reserve and make deposit. I was ignored via email and telephone, up until Friday, when I received an email stating that the unit was rented. There was no explanation and no assistance to try to get another unit. We are 2 couples traveling with infant babies and now we are left with no reservations and no options. I have again been emailing Fabiana and calling the numbers provided for the past 4 days with no response. The least these people can do is provide an explanation or offer assistance. I guess we are not important because they already rented the unit and got their $ from someone else.

In response to your review, I wanted to begin by saying that I would like to apologize for all the inconvenience that our communication or miss-communication might have caused you.
Also I need to clarify that the inquiry (listing#) that you used to place the review is not the same listing# of the apartment you intended to book, all the emails are in reference to another location.
I went through the e-mails and found the following information:
On Jan 4th, 2012: you inquired about availability on several apartments, some of them for different dates. But you needed the apartment for March 16th until March 19th.( 3 nights)
On Jan 5th, 2012: Fabiana answered your inquiry and offered you the 3 bedroom at Ft George, you stated in your response that you stayed in that apartment the prior year and that you loved it.
On Jan 6th, 2012: Fabiana says that she has availability at a 1 bedroom at the time.
On Jan 31st, 2012: Fabiana received and e-mail from you asking if the 3 bed was available.
On Jan 31st, 2012: Fabiana responded that it was available.
On Jan 31st, 2012: You responded that you would pay within the next 48 hours.
On Feb 1, 2012: you repeat the 1/31 e-mail. But we still receive no deposit.
On Feb 2nd ,2012: you wrote that you have not heard back.
On Feb 3rd, 2012: you wrote that you are ready to book and you mentioned that you spoke with me (Sergio) ( usually I do not get involved in the process, only to respond to the questions related to the apartments, I remember saying that I would communicate with Fabiana in reference to your prospect booking).
On Feb 3rd, 2012: Fabian wrote that the 3 bed apartment has been already booked.
On Feb 3rd, 2012: you ask Fabiana if she has anything else, should be a 2 or 3 bedrooms . Also you say that if there is anything available you would pay the same day.
On Feb 6, 2012: you ask if we have any more properties available.
On Feb 7, 2012: Fabiana send you another listing and quote for a 2 bedrooms in another location.
On Feb 8th, 2012: We received from you a $200 deposit.
(We usually agree to a certain apartment and send you a booking form before you make a deposit).
In this case there was no apartment , there was no agreement yet.
On Feb 8th, 2012: When we realized you made a $200 payment, I responded that I could offer you a one bedroom apartment and that if you would agree to take it I would keep the deposit, otherwise I would give you a refund for the full amount.
On Feb 8th ,2012: you responded that you needed at least a 2 bedroom apartment and if we did not have anything to offer we should refund the deposit.
On Feb 8th, 2012: I refunded the $200 deposit.
To my understanding this is not a lack of response, we try to help as much as we can to complete the bookings. We cannot commit without a deposit.
We hope that this explanation will clarify the chain of events and be assured that the last thing we are looking for is an unhappy guest.
