Excellent service. Everything we expected (and more!) for the price we paid. Staff was always very helpful. Quiet place, no annoying noises from outside or from other guests. Bending machines were so cool. Especially the one that gave traded dollar bills for coins.
Location was unbelievable. Upper West Side of Manhattan, with residential buildings, very quiet, pretty and clean neighborhood. Just 4 blocks away from Central Park. Very close to subway stations.
* What we liked best:
Big functional room with key card, 2 king sized beds and carpet, clean bath, everyday cleaning service, very comfortable beds, brochures about all NY attractions and maps available at the hall (for free), very helpful staff.
* What we liked least:
Small bath (especially the the sink), no Wi-Fi, just one desktop computer with non free Internet. Snacks machine didn't work properly, packages got stuck. When asked for a cab to get to JFK airport, we got a private vehicle (great at first, we thought) but at the end we had to pay the driver more than the average flat-rate ($60 instead of $45) plus toll, which we had to pay in the moment (the driver didn't pay first; we had to give him the money). Though this was more misunderstanding than a problem.
In overall, we would definitely come back! -
